RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - SmithyGCN - 08-19-2008 Warp Pipes Not really anything exciting, but they are items in this game when you absolutely MUST get from one place to another in an instant. The green warp pipes function only if you have placed two in the same world and cannot be moved once set. You are also allowed only two pipes per world, so make it count. The red escape pipe is a very rare item and, unlike the normal green warps, you can pick up and place elsewhere whenever you want. And about Icarus, when I get around to it, mm'kay? :p RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - Tero - 08-20-2008 Nice, warp pipes. RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - SmithyGCN - 08-24-2008 Dr. Light Goomba Peeping Eye Dr. Light's WIP Wagner the Spiteful. Hater of humans. RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - Teeks - 08-24-2008 Holy crao. Wagner is. Holy crap RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - Ton - 08-24-2008 Geez, Smithy. That's pretty badass. RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - Phantom Killah - 08-24-2008 Wagner made my jaw drop. Like, literally. RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - Rosencrantz - 08-24-2008 JESUS CHRIST also any chances that we'll see Snake and/or Dante in this game? RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - SmithyGCN - 08-24-2008 Actually, Snake IS in the game, can't tell you where yet though. But here's a hint: Of all the worlds featurEd in the game, he is found on the least likely world for his latest mission. If you can't tell, that is not one, but two hints. No thought on Dante as of yet. Good news, people regarding Stencyl. Most of the graphical effects I am wanting to include in our game are going to be easily created in Stencyl's engine. The only one not being done is Mode 7, but that is fine as Mode 7 will eventually be implimented upon a future release and I can make up for it along the way. RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - Tero - 08-25-2008 God damn... RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - SmithyGCN - 09-02-2008 Tileset to Bowser's Keep. Firebar (segment), Roto-Disc, and Podoboo. These are enemies that don't appear in the beastiary and are invincible. RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - GadgetTR - 09-03-2008 My only crit on Wagner is that he right wing (our left) is turned with the bottom towards us, which kind of makes it look like it's "on backwards". :/ (or maybe I just haven't played the game he was in....) Still awesome, though. Bowser's Keep & the enemies are looking awesome, as usual. RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - SmithyGCN - 09-03-2008 Yeah, the wing bothers me also even though I positioned it to match the official art, it still looks off. I'll try to correct it by the game's final release. RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - Tero - 09-03-2008 Fear Bowser's Chair RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - SmithyGCN - 09-13-2008 Ribbon. My girlfriend's favorite character from the Kirby series. RE: The Loving Couple's 8bit Action/RPG - LeleleleMAXIMUM - 09-13-2008 This is pretty tight. That Wagner is an eye-catcher, all right. It reminds me of a Mutalisk, from Starcraft. Can't wait to see it animated. |
