RE: FF7 High Detail Models Project (Tifa Finished Working on Aerith Now) - Ton - 09-21-2010 Sure. Is there anything for you to base Red on? I don't think he's had an updated model in any games. Was he in Crisis Core or Dirge of the Cerberus? RE: FF7 High Detail Models Project (Tifa Finished Working on Aerith Now) - Zerox - 09-21-2010 Thanks Tonberry. I don't currently have anything to base Red XIII on unless I want to take the original FF7 model and just touch that up a whole lot. He appears in a cutscene of Dirge of Cerberus but there isn't actually a model of him in-game. RE: FF7 High Detail Models Project (Tifa Finished Working on Aerith Now) - Ton - 09-21-2010 Wow, that'll be tough. Too bad you can't rip textures from Advent Children, haha. Based on how FF7 renders models there are limitations but the normal model will not have such knee issues. (Wow this is probably late but w/e) Holy crap that looks fantastic! Those screenshots make a person want to download the game. Tifa looks so awsume there! But I got to say I love your Arieth the best. (Which is a surprise because Tifa's my favorite character lol) Great job! Though I think it's alright. I've made quite a few edits to the face as well as other changes mentioned. How's this now? now it's perfect! and she does show up in Advent children quite a bit you just gotta know where to look....like how the wolf appears in alot of parts of the movie, i still hav'ent found all of the hidden wolves, theres a secret aerith and zack ghost after the credits hidden on the reflection of the desk... in Advent Children complete they redesigned her face and it looks much better, allthough she dose'nt appear in the "Calling" segment of the movie. anyway you have sucessfully created a FF7 Aerith that invokes the Crisis Core version and improves on her FF7 personality. good job! oh and as for Red, there are alot of ways to work it, you could modify the darknation model for one thing. they are about the same size after all. great barret btw he's most definatly a MR. As for what I said about the style, notice how your Tifa for example has a more of a realistic hair texture and there's a more obvious edge to the top of her shirt and her skin as compared to Aerith's dress. Tifa's skin details are also more apparent than Aerith's which is easy to easy on the bones of her neck and her breastbone. Just for comparison: RE: FF7 High Detail Models Project (Tifa Finished Working on Aerith Now) - E-Man - 09-22-2010 Your Aerith looks excellent, Zerox! She has the right balance of innocence and maturity. RE: FF7 High Detail Models Project (Tifa Finished Working on Aerith Now) - Lexou Duck - 09-22-2010 Umm, sorry to point this out, but when tifa is in her battle stance, the bottom and top part of the legs mix very strangely, makes her legs look like blobs. Maybe you can arrange the leg piece better so it's not that apparent. Maybe you can arrange the leg piece better so it's not that apparent. Its mostly because of the FF7 engine. It might be possible to make it look a bit better, but its hard to because of the way the model is built up ingame. RE: FF7 High Detail Models Project (Tifa Finished Working on Aerith Now) - valforwing - 09-24-2010 the aerith model is great! are you going to make a * spoiler alert* Dead Aerith model? i don't know why but she did'nt look DEAD in ff7 when he sepffy stabbed her. RE: FF7 High Detail Models Project (Tifa Finished Working on Aerith Now) - Shadowth117 - 09-24-2010 (09-24-2010, 09:18 AM)valforwing Wrote: the aerith model is great! are you going to make a Isn't that an FMV cutscene though? If it is it'd have to be rerendered which isn't really something that he could do. RE: FF7 High Detail Models Project (Tifa Finished Working on Aerith Now) - Zerox - 09-24-2010 Yeah FMV editing isn't in my power currently. RE: FF7 High Detail Models Project (Tifa Finished Working on Aerith Now) - Bendo Ver Formi - 09-24-2010 First off, the reason why the legs look weird is because you need to rotate the lower halves 180 degrees. It looks weird because half of her legs are on backwards lol, but I am very interested in this project and am good at converting battle models to field models, as well as perfecting existing battle models. I have spent a little time working on your Tifa, and have found that her skirt is difficult to work with. The hardest part though, is that the torso and hip parts are curved, so it take some time finding the optimal positioning as to not look as weird in game. If you want though I can send a more perfected version of your model back to you, as well as field models after I've made the battle model look better. Edit: I am curious to know if you are interested in making a Sephiroth model as well, because to me he is second most important to Cloud. Also, I have an apz cloud in black both field and battle models if you're interested in any of that. RE: FF7 High Detail Models Project (Tifa Finished Working on Aerith Now) - valforwing - 09-24-2010 hrm... besides the charecters themselves are you going to revamp their weaponry? RE: FF7 High Detail Models Project (Tifa Finished Working on Aerith Now) - NinkaKiwi - 11-07-2010 this looks promising so far Just a question but are you going to make cloud's hair look like his ff7 hair or his advent children hairstyle? |
