It's not done by Longshot, but rather a tunnel that is off-map (it requires a bomb). Star X (a Star Fox 'inspired' game for the GBA) has a black sticker stuck over the multi-player functions on the back of the box. Not sure if anything exist in game but as it's on the box I'm assuming so. Might be cool to look into. There was a white box in the corner saying "Requires GBA cable for Multiplayer" or something along those lines with a big black sticker over it.
