far as I care we should name anything that hasn't been turned into a pokemon yet since it went beyond animals since oh I don't know generation 3 or 4?
In any case, I want ether penguins or vikings in my pokemon

Actually there's a ton of non-animals in Gen I, probably more than most of the generations! Voltorb, Magnemite, Grimer, Geodude, Onix, Gastly Mr. Mime, Jynx. Plenty more than that too.
