RE: HEY RIDGE AND STAR, ITS ML3 SPRITES C: - Shade - 01-21-2013 I think the shirt and scarf should move slightly, it currently looks painted on to the torso. RE: HEY RIDGE AND STAR, ITS ML3 SPRITES C: - Garamonde - 01-22-2013 It still looks like he's dancing tbh. I think he should be swinging his arms less, and maybe not be turning quite as much. Otherwise, that's a really smooth animation, I love looking at it. @o@ RE: HEY RIDGE AND STAR, ITS ML3 SPRITES C: - Gors - 01-22-2013 the main problem is that this doesn't look battle ready at all. I for one wouldn't sway the head and torso all the time while confronting an enemy. do something more 'comfortable'; an idle animation must combine with every other animation, since it all stems from there. RE: HEY RIDGE AND STAR, ITS ML3 SPRITES C: - Yamcha the Desert Bandit - 01-27-2013 well, um, ahh, ighj, amm, It can only get better! RE: Koybi - recme - 01-27-2013 I want to start making sheets. I also want to submit this to the site. Because I have done neither of those things. EDIT: C+C would be great RE: Koybi - recme - 01-30-2013 WIP BABY. (This is actually a walk, but I think I made it too fast.) e.e ((also, I think the eyes just looking like they are just moving around the face.)) e.e RE: Koybi - Novally - 01-30-2013 I don't think double posting is allowed. I'd have to check the forum rules. I could be wrong. The Kirby, the outlines are jagged. and his shading doesn't give me that round feeling y'know? This is a thing of preference, but his mouth should be removed or replaced with a open mouth. Like this: ( ' o ' ) or ( ' . ' ) I also think the running animation looks fine. I believe you will add arms on later? RE: Koybi - recme - 01-30-2013 (01-30-2013, 09:21 PM)Novally Wrote: I don't think double posting is allowed. I'd have to check the forum rules. I'm quite not sure what you mean by there but I shall try editing the sprite a bit. I don't really like his mouth being like this: ( ' . ' ) . I find it really expression-less. I will add arms! That's why I wrote "WIP". Standing for Work In Progress. RE: Koybi - Novally - 01-30-2013 The outline does seem fine to you, but a second opinion makes wonders. It's jagged. (look at the line where his arm begins too). The arm thing about the animation was rhetorical by the way lol! By round feeling I meant shading. He feels a bit flat. I'm looking at the sprite again his right shoe doesn't match his left. I know it's a thing of depth perception but the right show looks shorter. I would give him a small smile and bigger eyes. RE: Koybi - Novally - 01-30-2013 They are jagged lol. It's true. Anti-aliasing would fix it. A smaller smile and bigger eyes would be attractive. RE: Koybi - Previous - 01-31-2013 (01-30-2013, 11:34 PM)Novally Wrote: They are jagged lol.Actually they're fine considering the arm is jutting out of the round body. Koybi's left arm is a pixel short towards the bottom, the other arm doesn't show the lightsource correctly, the contrast is a tiny bit low and things. RE: Koybi - Novally - 01-31-2013 Well I guess my comment was all a matter of an opinion. I'd do his outline differently. I apologize. My comment on the shading and feet still stands. Nice edits, Previous. You did there anti-aliasing on the mouth and a small fix on the shading. It looks great. Does his feet have to be cut shorter though lol? The right foot looked fine for it's length, just the other shoe needed to be a bit longer. RE: Koybi - recme - 01-31-2013 Okay, I edited it. The left (his right) leg looks weird to me, but I'll fix it later. RE: Koybi - Phaze - 01-31-2013 (01-30-2013, 09:05 PM)recolornerd Wrote: Yeah, this looks more like a run than a walk |
