RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - Mabelma - 03-09-2009 I don't really like the running animation. I was hoping something like a ninja running from that guy. On the attack animation the 6 packs looks like a tattoo not actual 6 packs. Where is the rest of the scarf? RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - Codestar - 03-09-2009 The scarfs are easier to animate as a separate entity. I actually like the idea of a ninja like running animation for him. I couldn't really come up with one that captures his wild ferocity. RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - King of Bad Posters - 03-09-2009 Project coming along great The animations looks nicethe mock ups are great i totally play this if it ever came out. RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - tsr moderation staff - 03-09-2009 I think a good run ref to use would be model p from Megaman ZXA, its kind of a zombie ninja type run. RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - Mabelma - 03-10-2009 Yeah use it as a ref it's quite good. DO what you want with the scarf. As long is in I'm happy. RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - mozzy - 03-10-2009 I've found that crouching before jumping poses don't work at all well in games. It may make more sense to have it that way, but when it's actually in play, it begins to lag and get annoying. Everything else seems fine to me. RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - Goemar - 03-10-2009 Everything looks awesome, but the run/walk seems more like he's having a stroll in the local Veg Market then out to kill evil Mammoths of DOOM. RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - JosephSeraph - 03-10-2009 Oh. i think the background stands out too much. the white outlines should be only on the characters. RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - Codestar - 03-11-2009 The white outline only goes on objects in the game. It helps to distinguish them from the background because they use a lot of the same colors. RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - Codestar - 03-11-2009 Update* Here's my progress on the run animation so far. Still gotta animate multiple things on it though. Using Sharnak from megaman ZXA as a ref actually helped a lot. RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - nairenu - 03-12-2009 uhh, i have one question, why is everything one colour exept the shoes? RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - Dazz - 03-12-2009 I don't know if this was mentioned, but does removing the white line on the bottom of the sprites make them seem less like they're planted on top of an image. RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - Codestar - 03-12-2009 @nairenu: its just to show the sole on his shoes and to distinguish them from the white outline. @ dazz not sure if that was a comment or a question... but yeah I'm not going to keep an outline on the bottom there, if it was on a darker background it would stick out like a sore thumb. RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - Mabelma - 03-12-2009 I like it but the arms are too big and too long. RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - Codestar - 03-12-2009 umm his arms are big/long... |
