Good job on the Moblin.

According to the first post, all of the worlds have been broken apart into little fragments. And I'm just inferring that said fragments are close to each other.

Another...
I was wondering, which enemies need to be done for Castlevania? And have the animations got to be smooth or juttery like old games?

RE: 2 Souls' Tale (previously named The Loving Couple's 8-bit Action/RPG) - SmithyGCN - 03-15-2009

Animations are as smooth as you can manage. We won't refuse sprites that aren't perfect in animation. By the way, the Moblin and Shy Guy are coming along perfectly and General Guy as well.

As for how they get between worlds, the path can't be seen, but each exit to a world leads directly into another through a brief patch of darkness.

For Castlevania:
Medusa Head
Bone Tower
Disc Armor
Axe Armor
Skeleton Gunman
Ruler Sword
Ghost Dancers
Marionette
Malphas (Karasuman for the SotN fans)
Succubus
Spriggan
Golem
Werewolf
Fleaman
Altair
Frozen Shade

The remaining four are Skeleton, Zombie, Peeping Eye, and Paranthropus. I've worked on all four already, but the Paranthropus and Zombie need more poses to seem less choppy.

If people are wondering where the bats are: they're reused from Hyrule, though more plentiful and don't count as a monster unique to this world.

Are there other series characters without worlds appearing in other ones?

Just a random idea I probably won't work on at all, Balloon Fighter should be in somewhere.

RE: 2 Souls' Tale (previously named The Loving Couple's 8-bit Action/RPG) - Chris2Balls [:B] - 03-15-2009

YES.I think that that's a very good idea.
Thanks SmithyGCN for the list Cute
Oh, and should I add a light in the lamp? I was going to initially but I realised it would clash with my shading. What are you views on it?
(I think I'll move updates and stuff to my own thread, because I'm scared of being too pervasive in your thread Sad)

If you want to work on Balloon Fighter, go right ahead. We could use it as a summon actually.

There are many characters whose worlds won't appear in game, but make appearances otherwise due to Dark Matter possibly already having absorbed them.

You're welcome. I forgot to add the White Dragon in the Castlevania list, but I forgot where to put it and which enemy I should replace.

You may, if you want to, but I never thought that you were imposing too much on my own topic.

You probably already know this, but all pics hosted on picoodle are out.

Wow, is that already done? If it is, I'll put it up. Smile

Picoodle.... my arch-nemesis....

Yeah, it's pretty much finished. The only thing I need to add is the electric attack, and I want to make it fit with the rest so I was going to mimic the style of the electric attack of Kracko, but I couldn't see it so... I'll fix it later.

Is there some sort of list of enemies that need to be done? I was wondering if I could do a Darknut or something.

@Chris, that Moblin is BIG. And it looks pretty good.

@SGG, epic General Guy is very epic!

RE: 2 Souls' Tale (previously named The Loving Couple's 8-bit Action/RPG) - SmithyGCN - 03-16-2009

I fixed the Kracko link so it can be accessed now.
I also added a list of Zelda enemies to the first post along with what's already done and being worked on at the moment.

Mothman is also finished for the game.

Is that list for Zelda the only things avaliable? I kinda started WW Ghoma (spelling?) last night. I didn't get far so if that list is all you need then thats fine.

That is just for the enemies, Ghoma is a boss for the "Second Quest" portion of the game.
