not nearly as boring as 1-3 though

I don't think my brain can process this comment. All I see is jumbled letters.

no he's pretty much right, if you're like me and played the entire X series before playing 1-9 you definitely have a lot less fun. i mean i still enjoyed the classic series (except 6, fuck you 6) but it was a lot less engaging than the X series

Oh man this.

The X series is, and will always be, the best series from Megaman.
I still find it much better than Classic, though classic has grown on me.

Also, I find MM7 completely boring and I hate it.

But back on topic, Megaman 8. I have a love/hate thing going on with it. JUMP JUMP JUMP SLIDE SLIDE SLIDE

Dune: the battle for arrakis.(GEN)

listen, i agree that the x series is better (though i prefer mmz considerably) but the classic megamans still rock hard

In order of MM preference for me, it goes

X > ZX > Z > Classic > MMBN
Legends just goes in there somewhere above MMBN

most people i know dont even know about the teenage mutant ninja turtles game for the Nes, which totally kicks ass.

Why yes, you are correct. Big Grin

I'unno, maybe it's just that by the time I got into games, most stuff was in 3D. Spyro the Dragon and Megaman Legends ruled my world.

Speaking of which, fuck newer Spyro titles, and fuck Insomniac for dropping the franchise.

This. I still love the first 3 spyro games.

Mega man (first, for NES)
and Metal Gear (1, for nes.)

RE: Favorite games nobody else likes. - Alpha Six - 11-03-2009

EVERYBODY loves Metal Gear Solid and Mega Man.

RE: Favorite games nobody else likes. - TimeToPerish - 11-03-2009

shit yeah they're freaking epic.

megam man 1 is much better than this newest shit.

i also love pokemon games to Gameboy.
i used to play when i was 6.

All of my friends to this day still hate on me for liking Silhouette Mirage and most people now talk to don't enjoy Gunstar Super Heroes. Both of which are Treasure games I enjoy still to this day.

No.

RE: Favorite games nobody else likes. - Alpha Six - 11-03-2009

mega man i can understand

but how can you possibly dislike MGS are you like completely anti-amazing video games or something
WAIT A MINUTE he edited his post and changed it from MGS (PSX) to the bastardization of the original version on the MSX, Metal Gear (NES)

my post is now invalid
might i add that if for whatever reason you liked the shitty NES version of Metal Gear, play the original on the MSX and begin to realize how horrible the NES one is and how amazing the MSX one is
(hint: buy metal gear solid 3: subsistence, it's on the second disc as well as metal gear 2)

RE: Favorite games nobody else likes. - Boo - 11-03-2009

Ok, to be honest I've never played the Metal Gear Solid series so I don't even have an opinion on them. I've played like ten minutes of MGS4, and it was pretty good.

RE: Favorite games nobody else likes. - Helmo - 11-03-2009

I've only played the GBC game and it's pretty boring imo. :/
