Well, .hack takes place in an MMO where there're a limited number of character models to choose from, so he's just a generic Wavemaster model. I think the actual in-universe Elk is a different colour.
So he's a recolour of a character from .hack. Technically.

Nope. I suppose the model is just "generic wavemaster", but in .hack we can see that colours and tattoos are customisable, even just from this guy:

Now, it's probably just me being picky, but it seems to me your character is supposed to reflect yourself at least in some respect, and surely that means you should really include at least some aspect of originality?

Oh, well then w/e. It's not actually important or anything, and there are worse series to crib from than .hack
Also I'd abandon my old ref if I had the option, but I'm registered on tSR and tSndR as GrooveMan, so welp. I may just change my forum username to Six of Spades though.
