RE: Costumes - Chaoxys - 02-27-2010 See, the thing is, is that Baby Mario riding yoshi has always... I don't know how to word this... Baby Mario is helpless and Yoshi is protecting him, so in this case it would be the same. Yoshi would fight, Baby Mario would sit back. RE: Costumes - Iceman404 - 02-27-2010 No, no, no, Baby Mario wouldn't fight, he'd just make slight faces and actions when Yoshi does stuff. Nothing too over-dramatic. RE: Costumes - Ninspriterx - 02-27-2010 Why not just give yoshi a shit-load of colors. RE: Costumes - tsr moderation staff - 02-27-2010 i like the baby mario idea. its not much of a stretch and it would be piss easy to do RE: Costumes - Iceman404 - 02-27-2010 Then should what mutantyoshi posted be the Baby Mario we might build off from? RE: Costumes - mutantyoshi - 02-27-2010 I just realized something, what happens to Baby Mario if Yoshi gets hurt? Put him in a bubble, crying and have Yoshi catch him? It's an alt costume. The Baby Mario on his back may as well be a doll, it shouldn't make any difference in yoshi's play style. RE: Costumes - Ton - 02-28-2010 If we can make this functional, I fully support baby Mario on Yoshi as a costume. He shouldn't actually do anything besides make faces. When Yoshi get's hurt, I say you should make it so that BM grabs his shell and buries his head in his hat. When Yoshi falls, he should be -for comedic relief- 'smooshed' under his shell, crying and flailing his little arms and legs. When Yoshi is in the air/ moving fast, make him grab the shell. And if we stay with Yoshi's Dragon FS, Baby Mario should point his arm, similar to Pokemon Trainer (in which whom has not been sprited yet D<), in the direction of whichever way Yoshi spat a fireball. On the ground pound move, Baby Mario should grab Yoshi's shell as tightly as possible and have little teardrops in the corner of his eye. Whenever Yoshi attacks, he should look suprised. When Yoshi taunts, I (Think, IMO) say he should be laughing and clapping his hands. (I need to stop posting such long lists.) RE: Costumes - Mallacxo - 02-28-2010 Have a feather on top of his head like he did in SMBZ. The Yoshis I mean. Also, when Yoshi turns into his FS Dragon, why not give Baby Mario a cape? He won't use it though. (Feel free to completely shoot down my opinion if you must...) Plus only the Yoshi Chief in Paper Mario has ever had a feather on his head. He's a different character too. AND we're already making Baby Mario. |
