Is there a way to get these models in a format compatible with blender without using 3ds Max? I tried using the script from the OP in 2010 3ds Max, but it caused it to crash. I'd really like to contribute to this project if I can, but I'd need to get around this hurdle first. I know 3ds Max has a free trial period, but it still asks for credit card info that I'd rather not give out if I don't have to. Smash3ds models are kinda... hard to get... since they have their bones and textures inside BCH files, while the model is stored in a MBN file, I can get u the textures for now if u wish.
