While it would be interesting to see Sega take a Megaman 9 style route with the series, I really don't think there's a need to complain about this game. At least this time they're trying a bit harder to make a classic style game.

out of the screenshots and video seen so far, the ONLY thing that I'd want changed about the game is the graphics. I definitely would've preferred HD sprites, but that in no way means that it'll ruin the entire game. Of course, it does leave me a bit skeptical (sega didn't listen to the fans and do a sprited game; they're taking the art in their own shitty direction again), but as long as the gameplay is good, I couldn't care less about the graphics.
The people who are saying this will suck because simply because it has boost pads and the people"boycotting" this over a couple of screenshots of an unfinished (not to mention the only video of gameplay on an obviously unfinished, unreleased alpha) game are, without a doubt, the fucking stupidest people I've ever seen.

why is this the only good song in sonic chronicles?? did bioware go "oh we have one decent song, so lets make horrible midi versions of good sonic songs for the rest of the soundtrack"? did they really think that fans would be happy if it had old school sonic music regardless of quality? >>

The thing which will be affecting my decision the most will be the price above anything. If each episode is £10 that'll be £40 for a Sonic game (if it have 4 episodes) and that's more than I'm willing to pay for a downloadable game.

Personally, I'd rather wait til all the episodes will be released and see if Sega will put it on a game disc or a complete download pack of some sort.
That's probably a more smarter thing to do.
