RE: SUPER ARISA WORLD - Zac - 10-29-2012 that hair is indeed awesome, and adorable but it doesn't really fit the character to me its to passive and well tended to for such a dynamic character RE: SUPER ARISA WORLD - Keiang - 10-29-2012 I think that, hair-wise, if she's supposed to be confused with Arisa, you might also wanna give her two ponytail things, since people who don't know her could refer to her as "that twintails bullethead girl" or something. But since doing that straight up would look too similar, maybe try giving her drill ponytails? Like that one girl from Starforce only probably not as extreme. I think that would kinda work since drill hair/ Ojou Ringlets are generally represent high social standing/ haughty stuff, which plays into her arrogant-ish personality. You could also give her a single ahoge, as opposed to Arisa's set of two, like Chris did. RE: SUPER ARISA WORLD - Kitsu - 10-29-2012 Quote:[12:36:02 PM] Kitsu: http://puu.sh/1kc3u this is what I doodled aka TT^TT though yes, with drills, she probably looks TOO MUCH like arisa like WAY too much RE: SUPER ARISA WORLD - Zac - 10-29-2012 I know gors is probably up to his neck in suggestions, but I think this is pretty fitting if not really cliche. Kitis: is that a finger or a weird gun? ZacIsBack: finger RE: SUPER ARISA WORLD - Garamonde - 10-29-2012 Since we are done being tensious here, I'll drop some more opinions since everyone else is. TBH while Chris' hair looks nice and fits her nationality, she uh... kinda looks like... Arisa's mom now... :s So far, Kitsu's hair is the absolute best IMO. If you can't "notice" a character with hair like that there's something wrong. But at the same time Zac's is the most fitting and that doodle of a possible encounter is pretty much as great as you can get. I can't decide... I'll still argue that I don't see how the two are alike other than race and height. Your points haven't really been clear to me yet. In any case, nothing points to Belle being a bad character as her design is now. RE: SUPER ARISA WORLD - Garamonde - 10-29-2012 Okay, well, I think this has been debated enough. Let us all please just let Gorsal take his time working with it and see what he comes up with rather than clogging his thread with the same argument over and over. He doesn't deserve to have all this bickering happening in his own thread nor does he want it. Let this discussion end now before it gets out of hand for the third time. RE: SUPER ARISA WORLD - Baegal - 10-29-2012 I know I may be a little late to the party, but I'd like to offer up something else to consider. What if Belle was more like this guy? I feel like, considering Gors' intentions, the "Jr. Troopa" type character would fit best because it's a minor rival, if that makes sense. Perhaps you could make the character memorable by being "that one difficult miniboss that keeps showing up at inconvenient times" (not saying Troopa was tough, but it could make Belle more memorable). RE: SUPER ARISA WORLD - Keiang - 10-29-2012 I think I got it. RE: SUPER ARISA WORLD - Cobalt Blue - 10-29-2012 Hurricane Belle RE: SUPER ARISA WORLD - Tellis - 10-30-2012 ...she should have a different hairdo every time you encounter her. Her hair should get messier after every battle, symbolizing her slow descent into madness. After every encounter, her actions and speech patterns become more erratic and deranged, finally snapping after the final battle. Walking away slowly, silently, with wide open eyes, she is presumably never heard from again. She is shown in a mental hospital during the ending credits. ...Wait did I write that? Jesus, Time for bed.. They're mostly experimental though, so they may be changed later (principally the hair in some anims, I'll get into them soon. |
