Yes, it has been guessed before, but not with a 100% certainty. I wanted to know if people actually recognized it. Games progress, for that reason, I think Sonic's fanfare should stay the same. EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jIGeAT2Qb8 0:02 onwards. RE: Victory fanfares? - Ton - 12-03-2009 Sounds great for Klonoa. RE: Victory fanfares? - Rökkan - 12-03-2009 I was going to suggest that too, Rags lol For Klonoa's loop, use this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjoOBtQBO0E we can speed it up a bit RE: Victory fanfares? - Ton - 12-03-2009 When does the loop play in SSB? RE: Victory fanfares? - Crappy Blue Luigi - 12-03-2009 The loops were another idea suggested in this topic. In Brawl, there's this short looping theme that plays after the end of a battle, when the players and ranked 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Our idea is to replace that with a loop relating to the character who wins, to go with their victory fanfare. RE: Victory fanfares? - Ton - 12-03-2009 I think I missed the loop idea. Can someone explain it? RE: Victory fanfares? - Crappy Blue Luigi - 12-03-2009 Rokkan suggested it on the first page. I think that post explains it nicely. All Smash bros. games have this loop song, but in this case, it'd be a loop for each fanfare. For instance, the Pokemon series could have the victory fanfare from Pokemon, and that happy loop afterwards, just like after you defeat a Trainer/Wild Pokemon. Sonic would have the Act Clear jingle and a loop from Sonic 2's options. RE: Victory fanfares? - Zoo Monkey - 12-03-2009 I played custom robo arena for the DS and that fanfare when you won a battle might sound good. RE: Victory fanfares? - Ton - 12-03-2009 Any way to get your hands on the song? And that seems pretty cool, Rokkan. But what happens when a team wins? RE: Victory fanfares? - Crappy Blue Luigi - 12-03-2009 Do both fanfares sound when a team wins? RE: Victory fanfares? - soulcaliburfan - 12-03-2009 Simple, the person on the team who gets more kills. Just like in a team battle normally it would play the person on the team with the most kill's fanfare. RE: Victory fanfares? - Ton - 12-03-2009 Makes sense. Cool. Hmm, what would Geno's be if part of his ideal loop is in his victory theme? Maybe we should change his victory? RE: Victory fanfares? - Crappy Blue Luigi - 12-03-2009 That's what I was thinking from the start, actually. We could add a few notes to the beginning of the victory theme, with the looping part being the, well, loop. RE: Victory fanfares? - Bazzoka - 12-03-2009 Actually, someone at a chat I go to made a really epic fanfare for Geno if he were in Brawl. Let me see if I can find it... EDIT: FOUND IT! It's a little bit overboard, but it should get the point across... http://www.divshare.com/download/9599242-3fa This is what I think Geno's victory theme should be. I'd have to ask the person if we could use it, or you can just make a different version with this as the general idea :V |
