RE: TSR PokeDex Project - metalflygon08 - 10-04-2010 but Stealth rocks makes that 120+ only need to be 60+ to ko. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Koopaul - 10-04-2010 This secondary type thing is becoming too complicated. Let's forget about that for now and focus on what critters we're using. I'm going to say we should steer away from an isopod starter considering all the starters have been very cute and charming while an isopod is... not. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Sengir - 10-04-2010 Yeah, in hindsight it may not have been such a good idea. In that case though I'd like to see pure types again (At least for Fire) And still rooting for: Stegosaurus or Frilled Lizard for Grass Hippo or Desman for Water Ram or Lion for Fire Design Ideas: Stegosaurus: Grass Stegosaurus with stonehenge-like stone spikes Frilled Lizard: Leaves or flower for the frill Hippo: Blue with a brown Azumarill-like mud patten from the middle of his body to the bottom Desman: no clue Ram: Fiery wool Lion: Fiery Mane RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Dragoon - 10-04-2010 I have to go for frilled lizard for the grass type if we're steering away from dinosaurs, I still think a fire ram is a good idea; and if an isopod isn't very good, then maybe a frog? I find it amazing there hasn't been an amphibian water starter yet. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - [robo9] - 10-04-2010 Backing up the pterodactyl ideafor the grass starter since it's not actually a dinosaur RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Baegal - 10-04-2010 I wouldn't HATE the idea for a stegosaurus, I really like the idea for a flower frill lizard. for once we could have another starter besides meganium that doesn't have to look all godly and mighty and can finally have a PERSONALITY. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Koopaul - 10-04-2010 Well there's already a Hippo and Pteradactyl Pokemon... So I'm not too fond of that idea, but there's no rule against having two Pokemon based on the same animal. It happens a lot. Well I'll start a poll for the grass starter. EDIT: I forgot you can't edit the first post and make it a poll. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - metalflygon08 - 10-04-2010 If I may... It could start out mini stegosuar, but move into frilled lizard (or thorny devil, it's Pokemon after all, a thorny devil would go great with pine needles) I think a fire rabbit that eventually becomes Fire/Dark would be good to (a rabbit shot is a cheap shot so it makes sense) my design ideas as is. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Koopaul - 10-04-2010 Hey thanks. I won't vote because honestly I love all those ideas. I'll just wait and see what happens. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - X Gamer 66 - 10-05-2010 While the frilled-lizard idea isn't the coolest idea of the four, I'd say it makes the most sense as a Pokemon. I'm guessing these are going to be sprited in Black/White style? RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Sengir - 10-05-2010 that's a good question. will these be sprited in parts like b/w? RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Koopaul - 10-05-2010 Well perhaps if people are willing, I don't know if that would be too tedious. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - metalflygon08 - 10-06-2010 well if it's any consolation, BW style just requires you to sprite the parts seperately, so that's not hard, and you have a 96x96 canvas instead of 80x80, and with ess shading to compensate for movement. How about Dark/Fighting/Psychic, Ice/Steel/Ground and Ice/Rock/Grass? And I'm not sure about Electric/Water/Ground because Electric doesn't effect Ground |
