Their society is seriously screwed when all the schools ever teach is about how poison affects Pokemon.

This is why you fight football players and scientests and breeders in game right? BECAUSE THEY DON'T EXIST!!!!!!

People who go to a school to learn about pokemon because pokemon trainers which is what they will do for the rest of their lives. They don't need useless shit like Algebra because all they will need to know anyway is basic math.

I was clearly joking. But when you think about it the world barely shows us the lives of people that don't have anything to do with Pokemon.

All those scientists you mentioned? Their research is about Pokemon. Maybe one or two are from a weather institute.

Pokemon Training as a career is completely useless to a functioning society. And judging how people are in that world, 9 out of 10 people are Trainers. What kind of society is that?

When you do find some outcast engineer or electrician he still has to train Pokemon... Why? So he can stop doing his job to challenge those all important Trainers to a battle.

Wasn't Pokemon created by Satoshi Tajiri?

I also heard that Jigglypuf is supposed to resemble Kirby. If that's true, then maybe Empoleon is King DeDeDe? XD

And, who's signature are you 'WOW'ing about?(If it's mine, the card took me 6 dang hours to make, and I am STILL not satisfied.)

Also, Ash and Gary's Japanese names are Satoshi and Shigeru, based off of the creator's names.

edit: read through thread, i am a pokéignorant. i liked the nidoking story, he's actually my favourite pokémon in red Smile

RE: Origins of Pokemon - Helmo - 01-02-2011

Arceus created Mew. Mew was it's hapiness incarnate, he is a screwed up version of the lake trio.
