Considering the iPhone's width is 640 and the grid is 8x8 I would suggest 48x48-pixel sprites that way we have enough room for the oven.

Also, should the colored score numbers pop in by the completed cake, rise a bit and pop out?

e: just so you know, if you want any special effects programmed in let me know or make a GIF and I'll do my best to replicate as faithfully as possible.

In the meantime I'm cleaning up and organizing the code, it's a real mess at the moment.

I'd say it looks more like milk...maybe.

If you guys're selling this I would so buy it. Would it be for Itouch/pad or just the phone?

It's currently for the web, though I can easily make it work with the mobile web (which is comprised of compact websites optimized for touch and often retina display) and quite possibly the iPhone itself by using PhoneGap.

Yeah, but I assumed you were thinking of selling it cause of the talk of IPhone/ etc.

Get your facts right - pee goes in, mayonnaise comes out.

I'd kill for a pee-to-mayonnaise converter

*insert mandatory "but that's a urine + mayo power generator, not a urine-to-mayo convertor" post here*

This is quite possibly the most bizarre thread in the GameDev forum

you should have changed 'urine' to 'pee' for full effect

anyway enough shit pee, I'll start making the 48x48 ingredients today.

Er, excuse me for a moment, but I personally think that Previous should have a bit more contrast between his blue shades. It's hard to see the shading unless you look pretty close.
