RE: 3DS Animal Crossing New Leaf - Garamonde - 10-31-2012

I was perfectly okay with it TBH. Although I liked when the towns people hid stuff in *insert acre* and posted on the bulletin board about it.

RE: 3DS Animal Crossing New Leaf - Mutsukki - 11-01-2012

Yeah, the acre thing was easier to locate stuff I guess, but I found it really annoying (not when playing for the first time though), going from place to place took way longer that it should.

-New villagers and two new species of characters: hamsters and deer.

-Flowers (and presumably other plants) now drip with water once they have the watering can used on them, allowing the player to know whether they've watered it or not.

-House exteriors can now be customized like a palace, Presidential Suite, Mansion, Gingerbread House, etc.

-There are now benches outside.

-Certain furniture can now be placed onto walls.

-Custom roads and paths can be created.

-Along with the existing ability to customize their shirt, hat and other accessories, players can now customize their shoes and pants.
You can choose the opening times of the shops.

-Leaves and plants that are used as furniture will change color according to the season.
It is suspected that the leaves will be different color based on if the item is customizeable, customized, or not

-As Mayor you can make decisions on which buildings or parts of your town will be added, such as a new bridge, or a new store.

-As Mayor, these decisions can even go specific as to what type of bridge is built, or what type of street lamp

-The ability to have events happen in towns. This is caused by a recent video where a girl is shown at a picnic next to a pond. You likely as mayor can set up the picnic blanket.

-Megaphones can be used for getting villagers' attention.

Did you mention the Parade of Homes feature?

All your registered friends will have their houses appear in a small neighboring village. It's a nice way to see all your friends' houses at once.

RE: 3DS Animal Crossing New Leaf - Guy - 11-04-2012

The one thing i've been wishing Animal Crossing would include for the longest time now....Scarves!

I've been pretty excited for this new AC, i kind of miss Mr. Resetti's griping.

RE: 3DS Animal Crossing New Leaf - Koopaul - 11-04-2012

Speaking of Resetti, I heard you can now see him and Don at this new building called the "Reset Crisis Center" or something like that. Not sure what the place is for though.

Edit: Found out what it does. It's to turn off Resetti or not. Apparently in Japan many girls do not like getting yelled at by him and some even cry! They cry! I'm not even making this up!

Really? It's a video game! Are these Japanese girls that sensitive?

RE: 3DS Animal Crossing New Leaf - Previous - 11-04-2012

If Resetti yells at you and you do not cry, you are heartless.

It's not about sensitivity. They're being scolded for having done wrong. They get filled with a sense of shame for having done wrong, because that's the response their society conditions them to have.

I hope that animation is a draft

either that or all residents have the force

RE: 3DS Animal Crossing New Leaf - Gwen - 11-04-2012

I'm hoping for the force.

I know that, but its still just a video game. Mr. Resetti is fictional and his rants are designed to be funny.

RE: 3DS Animal Crossing New Leaf - Woppet* - 11-04-2012

Starting a new town on wild world due to hype.
Someone come visit me Sad

Or annoying, depending on what you call entertainment or comedical.

RE: 3DS Animal Crossing New Leaf - Marth - 11-04-2012

It seems that they're adding a lot more to keep your attention longer and that the game is allowing you to become more creative. I skipped city folk because of this.

Looks like I need to buy a 3DS now or just steal my brother's again.

Yeah I'll just steal it.
