RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - SuperGoomba - 03-12-2013 had a go at glunk RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - Mr. Jam - 03-12-2013 the eyes seem a bit square, but other than that it's not too bad RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - recme - 03-12-2013 (03-11-2013, 10:09 PM)Zabadabenabadaba Wrote: Dedede is too small. He is supposed to be bigger than Kirby. Also, there is a lot of black lines in the sprite. Dedede's white thing on his hat is also to square. I like that Glunk, SuperGoomba! Some colors are odd but it is still really nice! It reminds me of Ika-chan. Never mind. Colors look phenominal RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - Zadaben - 03-12-2013 It's not a perfect match but it's fairly close The rest of the stuff is due to his being a WIP, but thanks! RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - recme - 03-12-2013 We are basing stuff off of current designs/sizes. So it would turn out like this: RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - Vic - 03-12-2013 I don't think the old Gameboy sprites are a good size reference in this case. Take a look at this one from Squeak Squad in that game, DDD height was almost 3 Kirbys, which to me looks much more reasonable. fukc me I should probably refresh the thread before posting RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - Previous - 03-12-2013 (03-12-2013, 04:46 PM)The Flash Wrote: We are basing stuff off of current designs/sizes. You'd better make that more obvious in the first post, too. While the tutorial mentions a few things, it does so more in a "I do it this way" than a "it should be done like this" fashion. Same about the palette that has to be used and how backgrounds are an exception. I think it'd be best to browse through the thread and make a list of everything you had to clarify, too, and add that to the first post so people have it all condensed in one spot. That way, everyone could check it easily without having to re-read the whole thread (it's normal that people would forget something or become unsure, too). RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - recme - 03-12-2013 Alrighty. I updated first post~ I'll also change some text in the tutorial~ : > EDIT: Finished changing the text in the tutorial RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - Hiynastrike - 03-13-2013 I Made Two Face! Hopefully I fallowed the instructions correctly RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - Zadaben - 03-13-2013 Same posting-so-as-to-not-forget deal as last time Same C+C policy as well as always. RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - recme - 03-13-2013 I made an edit. But it's still a WIP. The arm is a problem, but I'll probably fix that later. Also, Dedede seemed tall or something; so I made him more wide. Ya know, since he is over weighted. RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - Mr. Jam - 03-13-2013 I don't exactly know if this would really work or not, but I made an attempt at making kabu not that great, but that's about the best I can do at 2:00 am... RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - Vic - 03-14-2013 Dedede was bugging me extremely, so I made an edit too based on recme's edit mainly the beak and the hat, which looked way to poofy in both of your versions feel free to use this as you see fit RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - Mr. Jam - 03-14-2013 there, animated kabu EDIT: I think I used a few too many colors and the shading could be a bit better... RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - Garamonde - 03-14-2013 yea, Kabu is pillow shaded on the spinning frames. |
