RE: New Smash Bros In The Works? - Shadowth117 - 07-08-2009 Bad news guys. No More Heroes uses its own format for models. It would be difficult to use another method to get them since Dolphin's DX9 plugin seems broken at the moment. Any other game suggestions? RE: New Smash Bros In The Works? - Star - 07-08-2009 NO. Well, Travis will always be in brawl...in our dreams. Anyway, perhaps try Dry Bowser from Mario Kart Wii? Instead of silly textures hacks, it could be a neat costume like orignal Wario. RE: New Smash Bros In The Works? - Vipershark - 07-08-2009 how about jack from madworld or miis do miis RE: New Smash Bros In The Works? - Shadowth117 - 07-08-2009 I never said I wouldn't do it. I'll still try and rip him, but I'll have to wait until Dolphin's DX9 plugin works again. Dry Bowser sounds doable. I'll try that. Does he have legs ingame though? Mario Kart DS's models didn't have legs on the characters I don't think. I looked at Madworld too a while back. That'll have to wait like No More Heroes stuff. Not sure about Mii's, but I'll look into it. Edit: Just did a quick search. The Mii models probably won't happen since I can't seem to find any documentation on where they are in the Wii filesystem and people that have(who didn't say where they wereT_T) haven't been able to extract them although that info was from a few years ago so it may be obsolete. Regardless it would be simple to create a Mii from scratch so it should work out fine. RE: New Smash Bros In The Works? - Cobalt Blue - 07-08-2009 was about to say miis are simple polygon models that shouldnt be that hard to emulate. RE: New Smash Bros In The Works? - Shadowth117 - 07-08-2009 Yeah they are. I'm already working on one. Not even the textures should be terribly hard to do from scratch. RE: New Smash Bros In The Works? - Star - 07-08-2009 So there's still hope? Awesome. :o As for the MK characters not having any legs, they should have them because in MKWii, their full body models show when you select them as a character. I could see why they didn't have them in MKDS though, there was no need for them and made it easier to put them in the karts. RE: New Smash Bros In The Works? - Shadowth117 - 07-09-2009 That's good then. I'll try and get them ripped soon. RE: New Smash Bros In The Works? - Vipershark - 07-09-2009 put rosalina in RE: New Smash Bros In The Works? - mozzy - 07-09-2009 http://kotaku.com/5310759/no-more-heroes-designer-wants-travis-touchdown-in-next-smash-bros heh heh RE: New Smash Bros In The Works? - DioShiba - 07-09-2009 To bad that might have to wait until the next nintendo system comes out... Officially anyways RE: New Smash Bros In The Works? - Kira. - 07-09-2009 New smash brothers...megaman...knuckles, tails, shadow...PLEASE. Megaman is the only agreeable one the sonic characters characters that aren't sonic can be kept in Super Smash Flash RE: New Smash Bros In The Works? - Kira. - 07-09-2009 no...we need as many characters as possible. I don't think Shadow, Tails, and Knuckles make the cut. ...especially Shadow. ughhh |
