ff9 just the best. i hated 7 because the characters blew. 8 was OK, 10s only cool chars were wakka and tidus all the others were serious bitches
every ff before thsat i never beat because i cant keep my sattention span on a SNES game for very long now adays
12 was fun for a tad but i hated how ALL THE CHARS but fran was a hume. how fuckin lame

That's EXACTLY what I thought. They had all these diverse and interesting races to use and they chose 1 Viera and 5 Humans. Montblanc as a party member would have been awesome.

FF7 isn't that bad. I like it, but not like the OMFG CRAZY FANBOY FF7 CLOUD SEPHIROTH YES
FF8 is cool too great battle music and boss music
FF9 battle music = amazing maybe best PSX FF game idk still haven't beat any of them
FF10 sucks and I hate it
FF12 is worse than FF10

FFVII is like FFIV on SNES. It looks dated as shit, and both need remakes.
however, FFIV got like, 3 remakes since.
Also how the hell can you hate FFX. It's easily the best one after FFVI. Even if it's only good for that excellent battle system.

I like both FFX and FFX-2.
The ATB systems of the previous games were kinda lame and not really conducive to the gameplay. Being able to see the turn list and noting how attacks afftected it was a great strategy element, Lulu is cool, Auron is VERY cool, and the setting was interesting.
FFX-2's Dressphere system is probably one of the best Job systems I've ever seen, and I wish other games would adopt it more.
