Many models with cloth tend to have that, especially if the texturing is different for the opposite side. More often than not you'll need to work on splitting those polygons into two separate smoothing groups for it to look proper. Deleting the one side could cause more problems than it'd fix for certain models. RE: Super Smash Bros. 4 Model Project - 11th - 10-19-2015 I completely forgot about one-sided polys because Blender's workspace doesn't have problems displaying them, so I never looked it up... Turns out that Blender render doesn't like them much. There is a thread with a nodes fix, but it doesn't seem to like the polys being coplanar. Scaling one side down the inside a little takes care of that. I also kinda' found another fix. If you turn off all cast shadows it doesn't have any problems rendering coplanar. Not the best for lighting options, but at least it works. If you're using Blender, why not use Ambient Occlusion? Speaking of renders, I tried to do a Rosalina render, straight out of Blender Cycles, no Photoshopping. I did use the original textures, but mixed them with some custom materials. I'm also looking for some criticism, too. RE: Super Smash Bros. 4 Model Project - Struggleton! - 11-01-2015 Damn, that Rosalina render looks pretty solid right there EDIT: Her lips are a bit pale, so if you could give them some color that would be nice Anyways I'm not using Blender for this, I'm using 3DS Max RE: Super Smash Bros. 4 Model Project - nobody231 - 11-01-2015 (11-01-2015, 12:57 PM)ThatTrueStruggle Wrote: Damn, that Rosalina render looks pretty solid right there Aw, shouldn't have overlooked that! Imma have to rerender that! It took about an hour to render... RE: Super Smash Bros. 4 Model Project - Struggleton! - 11-01-2015 Is this any better? Aside from the lip thing already mentioned she looks great! The tips of her hair seems to have that same kind of off coloration that Peach's hair does though. Still wonder what that's about.
