I won't post links, though, you'd have to find them for yourself RE: Ripping Questions - Dazz - 10-26-2012 I can likely be blamed for a large quantity of those inappropriate sheets .-. RE: Ripping Questions - Magma MK-II - 10-26-2012 Very well then! RE: Ripping Questions - Carpaccio - 11-06-2012 Hey, been a while. I've been ripping from Z.H.P. Unlosing Ranger VS Darkdeath Evilman, and have been able to properly extract the sprites after a very long and tedious operation in TiledGGD, but the 'TXP' portraits are giving me some trouble. Could someone give me a little insight on how to view them properly? http://www.sendspace.com/file/ngyhza Here is a link to an example. For some reason it's Adell's portrait, and I don't recall him being in the game. RE: Ripping Questions - Deathbringer - 11-06-2012 RE: Ripping Questions - Carpaccio - 01-08-2013 Hello again folks. I come bearing another question, of course. I've been exploring the inner workings of that...uh...the japanese-only Tingle game...'Color Changing Tingle's Love Balloon Trip', and have hit a snag in ripping. The sprites are either in extensionless 'Lib' files or double-compressed 'olz' files. Now I've run these through some of Barubary's tools, which is how I have discovered the double-compressed status of the 'olz' files and the single-compressed nature of the 'lib' files. I was hoping someone could take a look and tell me a proper way of ripping them through either the use of tile-ripping or maybe a tool? http://www.sendspace.com/file/12m4s0 Ripping Sprites from Arcade Games? - Primortal - 02-01-2013 What tools/commands/etc. do I use to better rip sprites... or backgrounds? I got one of the MAME emulators... but probably NOT the most newest one... if that makes a difference. Would like to rip backgrounds from games like that Spider-Man arcade game. Usually by pressing F4 while in game will take you to the palette screen,if you press enter you'll probably see background layers and such Tools for PSP Sprite Ripping - Xenosynth - 02-03-2013 Now, I've been wanting to do something for a mecha forum of mine for a bit, and that is ripping both models and sprites for the PSP. Since models have proved really hard, I decided I was going to try doing sprites. I've been looking up a few tools. When I unpack the data for this particular game (Kidou Senshi Gundam: Gihren's Ambition Axis no Yabou V), and a few other ones, the file format for most of the data is .mkd, a single .mif, and some prx files. Pretty much I have zero experience in ripping sprites, so I wanted to know what tools I should use for these particular file types. The problem I've been having is that... well, I've noticed that depending on the game the data storage can be different, so the few things I've been able to find on my own don't seem to work for these particular games. Anyway, any help would be very much appreciated, and thank you for your time Ps1 ripping on a mac? - Mint - 02-19-2013 So I wanted to rip something from a sprite-based ps1 game. However, I can't find either a program to assist me for my OS or a way to put my emulator into the native resolution for the sprites and do it frame-by-frame with screenshots. I'm not even sure I can actually pause for every frame, considering my reflexes are pretty crappy . So yeah, any help on this? I might be able to do it by juggling virtual machines and such but I don't think I'm going to be able to...
