Use http://www.cheapassgamer.com/ to compare a lot of prices of games and see deals - will save you a few.
Hopefully you've already picked up Killzone 2 and Uncharted. Heavenly Sword should be cheap by now (and I really liked it).
Don't forget the PSN either - the PixelJunk games and WipeOut are awesome.

Modnation Racers looks like it will be the best racing game for the PS3. Definitely get KoF12 because 13 is going to completely crush because of Mai, Yuri and K'.

Still prefer Black over Sigma as well (Sigma is a bit too shiny...)
Dark Sector is dirt cheap and well worth playing as well.

The blood wasn't censored at all-- the violence was just toned down a tad. There was still plenty of blood, just no projectile limbs. The "purple" was the limbs being "destroyed" rather than lopped off

I've played ModNation Racers for a week now, and it reminded me of how much I hated Mario Kart Wii. The game is pretty sweet, but the enemy seems like a cheating bastard.
But I mainly bought the game for its track builder. The beta was pretty sweet in itself, but the full game satisfied my track building needs.
