Hey, I think he can stay. Just let him grow to this place a little. As long as he doesn't purposely cause a fuss, and keeps accepting crits and improving like he is now, he should stay in my opinion.

Well you have established a lightsource, but the colors need to have much more contrast to notice the shading.

Use a darker shade for the torso. And make the feet brighter.

But don't need to be a bad guy, just be a good guy, like you costume to make on other forums, or others...

But lets stay to the topic here. I think you should make the darker shade of the head cover a little less than it is now. The brighter shade is completely over-taken by it.

And no, darken the darker one.

Contrast is how dark a shade is compared to another.
