RE: TUGS \\ Preliminary Round \\ Work In Progress Thread - DJvenom - 07-01-2011 I was wondering when someone was gonna turn those 2 things into hooves RE: TUGS \\ Preliminary Round \\ Work In Progress Thread - Garamonde - 07-01-2011 IRDK what to do with the middle one...not sure how to go about it... I did adjust the first though. I like this new version the best. C&C? I'm kinda stumped on the silhouette ATM and find it hard to wanna work on it... EDIT: Re-uploaded the images because I brightened the middle shade on her dress and bow a bit. RE: TUGS \\ Preliminary Round \\ Work In Progress Thread - RétroX - 07-01-2011 Stupid programmer's OCD. The first thing that I did on the first image was index it and edit the colourmap, only to realise that the skin colour on the face and everything else overlap; it'd be pretty much impossible to have any colour variance. I guess that either all of you are cheating, or I wasn't cheating enough. :/ RE: TUGS \\ Preliminary Round \\ Work In Progress Thread - Garamonde - 07-01-2011 Um, I didn't cheat, what I did was select the whole sprite, then de-select certain parts and use the Color Replacer tool (I was supposed to do that right? I couldn't do it any other way b/c of the amount of colors). RE: TUGS \\ Preliminary Round \\ Work In Progress Thread - RétroX - 07-01-2011 I didn't mean it as cheating; everyone in this topic did that. So, I'm assuming that quality of the image was lost when it was converted to greyscale. RE: TUGS \\ Preliminary Round \\ Work In Progress Thread - Cobalt Blue - 07-01-2011 it turned out better than expected! RE: TUGS \\ Preliminary Round \\ Work In Progress Thread - [robo9] - 07-01-2011 Its a Ditto~ RE: TUGS \\ Preliminary Round \\ Work In Progress Thread - GaryASPG - 07-01-2011 b RE: TUGS \\ Preliminary Round \\ Work In Progress Thread - RétroX - 07-01-2011 You would not believe how long that I took to get these colours: and now RE: TUGS \\ Preliminary Round \\ Work In Progress Thread - Garamonde - 07-01-2011 It's looking pretty nice, Retro! Anyway, I have a question regarding the Line Art Assignment. When you say "minor adjustments to the line art are tolerated", does that mean you can anti-alias on the outside of the lines, and/or sel-outing and the like? RE: TUGS \\ Preliminary Round \\ Work In Progress Thread - RétroX - 07-01-2011 I'm pretty sure that AA on the outside would be fine. It says that smoothing is allowed, and I'm pretty sure that that qualifies. RE: TUGS \\ Preliminary Round \\ Work In Progress Thread - Garamonde - 07-01-2011 OK, just wanted to be absolutely sure. I'll post something new tomorrow. I'm trying to fix my sudden lack of drive (which I don't even understand how that's happening during a competition)... RE: TUGS \\ Preliminary Round \\ Work In Progress Thread - RétroX - 07-01-2011 Also, question about the silhouette - would it be okay if we used all of the silhouette, but had parts inside the silhouette where a token pixel here or there is missing? Like, say, we wanted to turn part of it into a fire effect, and we wanted to take a few pixels out for the effect, while still keeping the shape of the silhouette? RE: TUGS \\ Preliminary Round \\ Work In Progress Thread - Codestar - 07-01-2011 I'm surprised nobody has posted an uber yet. WHAT SICK MAN SENDS BABY TO SPRITE? |
