RE: Street Fighter X tekken. - Gwen - 03-20-2012 The fact that it's coming out so soon afterwards is what is lamebutts. That soda metaphor is rock solid. What you're saying makes sense, that's actually a good way to keep a game fresh, but it doesn't justify the pricetag. If it was something they hadn't finished before release day, I wouldn't mind. Making them free would do just as nice a job of exciting players, maybe even more so. It's really just the cash grab that's irritating me here. Also you are totally free to go out and buy these characters, I'm not trying to organize a boycott. If a similar situation occurred with a game I really enjoyed I'd probably pay for the content anyway, too! Doesn't mean I have to like having to do it, though, haha. RE: Street Fighter X tekken. - DioShiba - 03-20-2012 Honestly far as I care even if Fighting games are meant to be competitive I feel like you'd litterally have to shove out the same game over and over again just to justify the point. I get the fact DLC solves the entire issue involving new content instead of having to release a Super Street Fight X Turbo Alpha every time but when it comes to making a new game stay fresh over the years you might as well shove out new DLC every month or so to keep people from losing interest. And people are going to keep on wanting more until the developer realizes that the console has limits to what can be put on it. In other words it's harder to make the game fresh when you have an audience that constantly wants something new. Which in a way is kind of funny given that fighting games usually don't last long in this market.
