RE: Werewolf (and friends!) - Previous - 05-13-2012 I'm sure you won't mind me using it as a wallpaper Just until I make a new one myself. I kinda got sck of the old rainbow. RE: Werewolf (and friends!) - Lexou Duck - 05-13-2012 Amazing stuff as always with delicious, though Be sure to post a link to that devlog when it's up ! RE: Werewolf (and friends!) - Delicious - 05-15-2012 Thanks guys! I made two years ago, and to see how much I improved since I decided to revamp the piece. Here is a rough sketch of what I have so far The grey is Pixeljoints default background color (It will be transparent once finished) RE: Werewolf (and friends!) - Medevenx - 05-15-2012 holy sex. bad enough that your sprite 2 years ago is still of good quality, that new one just made me gay -er RE: Werewolf (and friends!) - Thumbtacks - 05-15-2012 Jeez you just keep getting worse, don't you. RE: Werewolf (and friends!) - Chris2Balls [:B] - 05-16-2012 Dude, you should really practice drawing 3D things... it's all really broken. The character looks like he's going to fall over because his pose lacks stability. I also think you should give more thought to the pose, because it's like a cross of your fly character and your werewolf. Give him more personality! The left edit is changing the pose, right is trying to stabilise the current pose. I hope you finish this! RE: Werewolf (and friends!) - Delicious - 05-16-2012 Kickass edit, Chris. In my offense, I really rushed that pose and forgot to flip it horizontally like I usually do to test out it's balance - It's indeed very off! I think I'll stick with my original pose, but definitely make it more stable. Thanks! RE: Werewolf (and friends!) - Delicious - 05-17-2012 RE: Werewolf (and friends!) - Koopaul - 05-19-2012 Oooooh nice but... Why does he have a loin cloth now? He's got a robot body. He's got a monkey body. RE: Werewolf (and friends!) - Previous - 05-19-2012 (05-19-2012, 03:37 AM)Koopaul Wrote: Oooooh nice but... Why does he have a loin cloth now? With mostly naked cartoon animals it helps to have an article of clothing to make your character stand out more. Like a t-shirt or a hat. The robot body here clashes with that loin cloth. Loin cloth says barbarian age, and robot body says future age. RE: Werewolf (and friends!) - Chris2Balls [:B] - 05-19-2012 I disagree, I think he could make it work if he uses Unreal Tournament 3 as a reference. My point was more that as long as it makes sense in context, there's nothing wrong with it. I personally like the loincloth, and I've seen similar setups used to great effect. The link with barbarianism is the entire point, as I see it. To me, it gets across the idea of a renegade or mercenary, rather than, for example, a member of an elite armed militia, as you might suspect without it. RE: Werewolf (and friends!) - Delicious - 05-20-2012 Thanks for the kind words, folks. I'll be keeping the cloth cause I quite like it myself. Also, here's a small run-cycle Any criticism would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
