I'll get the palette and whatnot together in a bit. gotta go job hunting today :X

RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - Mabelma - 03-13-2009

OK then forget about the abs.
It's just me.
I really like the style you should really do what Goemar said.

RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - nairenu - 03-13-2009

Hehe i made a suspicious looking person in this style
[Image: LinkFrostFirestyle.png]

who could it be, hmmm XD

*note* plz don't go "omg, you shaded on the white" its to avoid confusion with the white outline, i also put some darker green on some spots, its also to avoid confusion between some clothing*

RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - Mabelma - 03-13-2009

omg, you shaded on the white!

Na just kidding.
It looks nice.
I like it but the bottom right side of the hat looks too squared make it a bit more curved.

better?

RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - Mabelma - 03-13-2009

Yeah it looks alright.
Anyways I have a question for you, can you do Mario in that style?
I want to see something.

RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - Chris2Balls [:B] - 03-13-2009

Just need to get rid of his neckwarmer :p

RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - Mabelma - 03-13-2009

Yeah I though that too but it's part of the style I think.

There.
No recolors or traces. There is no template for this style.
No character has the same stance or pose.

RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - Mabelma - 03-13-2009

Awesome Kaikimi thanks.
It's awesome how you organized it.
I'm going to do something sooner or later.
You should post that at the first post.
Anyways what are you going to do after the running?

RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - Codestar - 03-13-2009

I'm working on background tiles at the moment for the first village/ice level. I'll probably move on to spriting fire attacks and enemies after that.

RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - Mabelma - 03-13-2009

Oh ok then.
Anyways is there a set height for the characters?
Can you fix the intro animation thing I told you about?

RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - nairenu - 03-13-2009

kaikimi, theres one thing i need to tell you about the mugshot, i dislike the nose,, everything looks kickass, but the nose just doesn't fit in, maybe try manga styled nose?

Here's another mockup I just threw together.

and the intro thing doesn't need any fixing, it corrects itself once nicolas goes into his idle stance.

RE: PROJECT FROSTFIRE wip topic - Mabelma - 03-13-2009

Oh ok then it looks nice.
I'm currently spriting my own little guy in this style I'll post it later.

Here he is:
It my not be as good as many around here(yours) but I like it.

I hope you like it too.
