OOT had blood (lol oot shut up) all over the shadow temple but it got edited out of ganondorf
still though
in WW link stabbed ganondorf THROUGH THE FACE and he didn't bleed
at all

why exactly does it need more blood? They're not exactly going for DARK BRUTAL HORROR like DeadSpace, it wouldn't really benefit from fountains of the red stuff, either.
