The Heavy's gonna look funny as hell with that thing :> RE: Team Fortress 2 Presents... - Alpha Six - 09-03-2009 spy always has cloaking problems with every new update RE: Team Fortress 2 Presents... - Alpha Six - 09-08-2009 yo doods i'm not sure if you've been paying attention but the travis update just got a huge overhaul, including bad girl's bat, more sound files, an improved model, a new energy drink and a couple other new shit http://mechaware.net/tf2/travis/ RE: Team Fortress 2 Presents... - Mecha the Slag - 09-20-2009 (08-22-2009, 08:15 PM)Nystre Wrote: http://mechaware.net/tf2/travis/thanks Nystre posting it RE: Team Fortress 2 Presents... - Sol - 09-22-2009 http://www.teamfortress.com/post.php?id=2851 Uh, what? RE: Team Fortress 2 Presents... - Alpha Six - 09-22-2009 OMG. Jake posted a link to something like that on some free webservice server and I was like "if this was real I would so play it" fdsfsgffdgdfgggggggg DOES IT ACTUALLY EXIST AAAAAAAAAAAA RE: Team Fortress 2 Presents... - Raytheon - 09-22-2009 no a community user made it. apparently valve were really impressed and shit and he got an email saying that it was good. RE: Team Fortress 2 Presents... - Alpha Six - 09-22-2009 i know it was a fanmade update but that would be f. sweet if valve actually decided to do something with it. RE: Team Fortress 2 Presents... - Raytheon - 09-22-2009 THIS IS WHAT HIS EMAIL ACTUALLY SAID "WE CAME UP W/ THIS IDEA BEFORE YOU, NOW WE HAVE IT AND YOU GET NO CREDIT K " RE: Team Fortress 2 Presents... - Rosencrantz - 09-22-2009 oh man please PLEASE let this happen I was hoping that tenthclass would be the Civilian (finally) but I like this tons more :> RE: Team Fortress 2 Presents... - Kitsu - 09-22-2009 Off MFGG TF2 thread: Quote: Too bad for the pup. RE: Team Fortress 2 Presents... - LilGrim1991 - 09-22-2009 If we all hype this up alot it'll probably happen. Valve really listens to their audience, maybe if we yell JUUUUST loud enough... :v hahaha, my favorite part of the letter is " [/] YOUR APPLICATION IS PENDING. [ ] I'M COMING FOR YOU, YOU SON OF A BITCH." XD RE: Team Fortress 2 Presents... - Rosencrantz - 09-22-2009 (09-22-2009, 05:14 PM)Sploder Wrote: Off MFGG TF2 thread: well, a few things: 1) a bunch of people on the Steam forum supposedly proved that this e-mail was false or something (I don't have all the facts, and I think everyone may be wrong) 2) if enough people pester Valve for it, Valve might actually include it anyway RE: Team Fortress 2 Presents... - Nystre - 09-23-2009 oh yeah sure pestering valve works that's why after the game being out for almost 2 years they've nerfed the demoman oh wait RE: Team Fortress 2 Presents... - Kitsu - 09-23-2009 Well, the dog, as described in the fake update, is somewhat broken. In order to balance it out a bit better, I'd probably change the following things: 1) Make it go somewhat slower than a Scout. 2) Give it lower health than a Scout. Maybe around 80-100 or something. 3) Make the dog a bit bigger. They could do this through feature exaggeration, kinda how all the people are already rather disproportionate. Also, while Valve may listen to their fans somewhat often, they still might reject the dog for various reasons. They might already have plans for a different 10th class (though I don't think so). Also, Guard Dog would change up the gameplay. Unlike the other classes, where class rushes are often rather ineffective, Guard Dog rushes would probably win almost every time, as the class has a strong melee, a fast, pushing primary weapon, and a useful way to bring HP and ammo to the other dogs. It'd be like playing against a well-balanced team, except they're all the same class! |
