RE: Super Smash Bros. 4 Model Project - Ploaj - 07-14-2016 I think I got the animation data figured out It should be supported by BrawlBox soonish. I need to work out a few other things before it's 100%. Custom animations are one step closer to project Squirtle and Pichu 4Smash... RE: Super Smash Bros. 4 Model Project - Kold-Virus - 07-14-2016 How, Ploaj... Just how? RE: Super Smash Bros. 4 Model Project - AlistairRoo - 07-15-2016 Damn, amazing job Ploaj! That looks great. RE: Super Smash Bros. 4 Model Project - Kold-Virus - 07-15-2016 I can't wait to get my hands on a viewer! RE: Super Smash Bros. 4 Model Project - Ploaj - 07-22-2016 One step at a time... Cool, model importing in ssb4, will it work on imported animations? I got one that is almost fully working, And model imports are a thing with it. Now Do you have bones in it? RE: Super Smash Bros. 4 Model Project - Ploaj - 07-23-2016 Yes, the bones are there and working. Both the VBN and NUD there are generated from scratch, so that's why the texture is missing. The "T-Pose" here is actually a 1 frame animation I used to see if the OMO creation was working right. Other animations kinda work, but some bones just aren't cooperating (specifically the ones that aren't part of the "main.pac"): That's what I'm working on now. Can I ask the progress on model importing so far? It would save me a little time if there was an easier way to get the model and texture parts done. RE: Super Smash Bros. 4 Model Project - smb123w64gb - 07-23-2016 Well model creation right now is working, but has its moments, IE some strings dont connect resulting in crash on system and a corupted mess in 3dsmax. Texture creation is useing the dds based format in nut files, since gtx is the bain of Wii u modding at this moment. Other than that we are looking into material settings and how they connect in the params of stages and models. RE: Super Smash Bros. 4 Model Project - HeroOfHyuleLink - 07-23-2016 Can someone get me Links model? If you have 3DSMax (Student Version (which is basically free)) you can rip it yourself. RTB has the raw models and script on the first page. RE: Super Smash Bros. 4 Model Project - HeroOfHyuleLink - 07-24-2016 What is rtb? I have 3ds max 2009 and is it the normal Link model? And I'm not seeing any models nor scripts on the first page? I really dont know how to do this so telling me to Rip them with 3ds Max myself isn't helpful... and all I se on the front page are the models already ripped don't see anything for Link besides he is requested RE: Super Smash Bros. 4 Model Project - nobody231 - 07-25-2016 (07-24-2016, 04:02 AM)HeroOfHyuleLink Wrote: What is rtb? RTB, short for Random Talking Bush, is one of the admins on this forum. He's really good at ripping stuff, and currently drives a lot of projects. 2. Look closely at the first post. It is I, Mystie, and as some of you may already know, I've begun to rip models from the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. 4, all thanks to RTB's tools.3. You really should learn what MaxScript is. And besides, the first post had all the tools you needed, as stated above. If you saw that, and thought that wasn't anything helpful... I'm not sure how much that needs to be taught. Also, it takes time to rip models. With 8 skins to rip, converting textures from GTX to DDS to PNG, making sure nothing broke on import, and making sure the models don't break on export, I don't see how people who aren't schoolkids on summer break can rip a complex model in two weeks, which was when you requested the model. So please, don't act like a self-righteous prick, even if that's not your intention. RE: Super Smash Bros. 4 Model Project - Kold-Virus - 07-25-2016 I'm taking a wild guess that you're new to modding/ripping in general, pal. A lot of this stuff is a lot better learned on your own than depending on everyone to do the dirty work for you. That's how, for example, I started ripping stuff myself and even teaching myself indie game dev. |
