RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Garamonde - 04-15-2011 Steel/Electric type? RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Teabagger9777 - 04-15-2011 what do u mean steel/eletric? RE: TSR PokeDex Project - NICKtendo DS - 04-15-2011 Sudpourri (Suds+Potpourri) Type: Water/Ground Jellyfish Pokémon It secretes a peculiar fluid from its skin and the tips of its tentacles that breaks down dirt and filth. Wrabon (Wrap+Bonbon) (Based on the candy Pokémon concept) Type: Rock Pill Pokémon Easily mistaken for candy, it lures Pokémon with its sweet scent. However, it tastes awefully bitter. Wes was asking what your Pokemon's type would be (the Nintendo DS) and I figured it would either be Steel, Electric or both. Though I'm still not sure how that would look. And NICKtendo, the pill Pokemon is genius. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Teabagger9777 - 04-15-2011 what do you think of my basic designs, mighty jetters? RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Garamonde - 04-15-2011 I think they're pretty good starts actually, the 2nd & 3rd ones remind me of spiky chestnuts. Though something seems to be missing with the 2nd and 3rd forms, I think it's the arms and legs... they seem a bit "simple", though I'm sure you'll edit them a bit later. The first one's cute, I think. They're supposed to be prehistoric plants you say? I personally think the 2nd and 3rd should probably differ a bit more in design, but I know these are just concepts so for now that's all I have to say. Good job so far! EDIT: Though I think the 2nd and 3rd form designs would look good with leaf or vine-like arms and legs, not sure. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Kosheh - 04-15-2011 You only really changed the baby bush pokemon. It looks better than originally, but...he looks like pikachu and bart simpson's lovechild with ENORMOUS ANIME EYES :/ um do paleo bushes have branches? i could see the final evo being multiple bushes or even becoming a little paleo-bush dinosaur. Also, I like the Wrapbon design but this is just me being a picky pickster - Wrapbon sounds/looks more like a cough drop than he does an actual pill. it'd be amazing if wrapbon turned into a jar of painkillers with the static ability just sayin' RE: TSR PokeDex Project - NICKtendo DS - 04-15-2011 (04-15-2011, 10:49 AM)Kosheh Wrote: You only really changed the baby bush pokemon. To clarify the species "Pill Pokémon", calling it a Candy Pokémon might make it seem less natural eventhough it is pretty obvious. Pill also refers to the original purpose of candy, which was medicine. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Koopaul - 04-16-2011 Ghost/ Rock type Grave Pokemon. Known to mourn forgotten souls, it keeps a list of names on the grave it carries. Knows the bone moves like Bone Club. Also here's a Fire/ Grass tiki Pokemon. Second form. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Medevenx - 04-16-2011 For the Tiki, maybe the top can be happy while the bottom face can be angry? RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Koopaul - 04-16-2011 I was thinking about that. Making the top smile and the bottom frown. But it's really an incomplete concept, unlike my skeleton up there who only needs a little more Pokefication, this guy still needs lots of work. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Garamonde - 04-16-2011 I was going to draw a volcanic plant design... oh well nevermind, your idea works too Koopaul. The skeleton Pokemon is cool BTW. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Perseus - 04-16-2011 I like the skeleton too and I like Wrabon. I might try to redraw the paleo bush Pokemon RE: TSR PokeDex Project - NICKtendo DS - 04-16-2011 Depending on the condition, Wrabon evolves into either: Suggum (Sugar+Gum) Type: Rock/Fight Breaker Pokémon It's hard shell protects it from blows of any magnitude. This allows it to go all out in close combat. It's arms and legs are elastic, stretching up to 3 times the normal size. Suggum has high Attack and Defense. Cottandy (Cotton Candy) Type: Rock/Ghost Fluff Pokémon Cottandy's body is largely made of a weird, sticky wool. Anyone foolish enough to take a bite might lose its sense of taste forever. Cottandy has high Special Attack and Special Defense. RE: TSR PokeDex Project - Chaoxys - 04-16-2011 Second one looks like Mallow, but I love the jawbreaker. |
