RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - E-Man - 06-05-2015 Since Agahnim is a huge inspiration for one of my own character I had more many years (yet never bothered to actually include him in any physical works), I really like that bit of news. I love the expression where he looks startled by something. It certainly would make for good cutscene potential. RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - Koh - 06-05-2015 (06-05-2015, 12:15 AM)TomGuycott Wrote: So I just found out that there's unused sprites of Agahnim in A Link to the Past, and NOBODY anywhere seems to have ever posted them before. I figure this would have been found a long time ago, the sprites are huge. Am I mistaken, or were they actually put to use in the GBA version? The diagonal/side casting and releasing sprites at least, unless my memory is faulty. Perhaps the damage taking sprites too (if you look carefully, the pose is that of Link taking damage). RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - TomGuycott - 06-05-2015 Only the damaged sprites are unused. Sorry, I was tired and lazy last night. I just posted the RAM where I found them mixed in. I have also run around searching for other unused stuff, but so far I only found some unused directions for Lanmola's head. I have a few more bosses to check still. I enjoy finding strange, unseen things in games that have already been dissected to death. It's fun to see stuff still goes unnoticed. RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - Kriven - 06-07-2015 GOG has been running a pretty huge Summer Sale, for those who don't know. Steam type discounts, no DRM. Right now they have a platformer four-pack with some neato games for just ten bucks... so... Go-go-go I guess? RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - senjen - 06-09-2015 Found a really well done animated zelda short with some hyrule warrior models as well as some ocarina of time 3d models https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=it2sk2nzbnY proves nintendo could pull of a movie with little to none voices. RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - E-Man - 06-09-2015 I actually saw that short about one or two days ago from one of my best online friends. I like how the Skull Kid is basically a pawn broker and Midna is giving away bounties. If it wasn't for the fact that I have Maya, I probably would have giving Source Film Maker a try for CGI animation. RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - puggsoy - 06-09-2015 Armikrog is available for preorder on Steam!!! Also, Tomorrow Corporation (Little Inferno developers) just made a new game called Human Resource Machine. It looks really cool, and they made it in only 9 months! EDIT: The latest Humble Bundle is also fantastic, full of indie classics. I own all of them except Risk of Rain, and I recommend each one highly. RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - Iceman404 - 06-12-2015 THAT DIRECT IN A FEW DAYS THO- I'm so excited~ RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - Kosheh - 06-13-2015 (06-12-2015, 08:35 PM)Iceman404 Wrote: THAT DIRECT IN A FEW DAYS THO- I'm so glad this GIF exists. RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - psychospacecow - 06-14-2015 Its kinda weird thinking about E-Sports. I mean, we've basically taken the tried and true formula of selling a game with a show in which people compete in it (Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon, Beyblade, etc. etc. etc.) and made it real. RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - puggsoy - 06-15-2015 (06-14-2015, 11:28 AM)Kitsu Wrote: randomly wondering, but if I were to copy all the files off my n3ds's SD card (that appear using the wifi connection thing) onto my PC, would that effectively copy the games I have on that SD card? would I be able to later paste those same files back on the SD card to play those games again? These links seem to suggest that it works that way. They're about moving stuff to a new SD card but the point is that if you just copy the data to your PC and don't touch it then you should be able to copy it back later. Then again, in this thread someone says that you have to cut the files and that copying doesn't work. I honestly wouldn't know since I haven't tried this myself. I personally wouldn't suggest trying it unless you have a good reason to, and in that case it would probably be good to Google around some more just to be sure. No. They're tied to your NNID. If you were doing a system transfer, it's all done through the Internet. Basically, if the games were to be stored on your SD card, it needs the "key" the 3DS provides it with. If there's no "key", there's no games. If there's a "key" and no game on the SD card, you'll just get an error message. hey im feelin like a nintendo fanboy here's my e3 predictions: - memes - release date for yoshi's wooly world - release date for xenoblade x - hyrule warriors trailer - blastball trailer - reggie lays the memes on us - "mario maker" is now "super mario maker". oh and check out this mario maker amiibo that will save your progress - speaking of which, the original mario galaxy is coming out on the virtual console, along with kirby: return to dreamland and sin and punishment star successor - warioware touched on NDS virtual console for wii u. "retro games are dead" - bill trinen - nindies =) including lovely planet and freedom planet. try them now, get 15% off when they release - joylancer by a6 productions is still missing from the nindies, meanwhile a6 totally qualifies for a nintendo developer license while saijee's lousy company "from soy sauce" who's "big plans" is "smash touhou" has one - zelda wii u now has amiibo compatibility. with a holiday 2016 release date. - starfox. finally. uses Project Guard (peppy sits in a base and shoots) Project Giant Robot (Slippy pilots a mech that punches) and the Starfox demo from last year (to tie it all together). but it's a minigame compilation. check out these amiibo that are releasing alongside of it the week before black friday. tl;dr go fuck yourself starfox fans - fire emblem if release date: "2016" SMT x Fire Emblem: "we don't fucking know, please stop asking" - every game mentioned has amiibo compatibility - all hard-to-find amiibo are being restocked in limited quantities. "stay in the loop and don't miss your chance!" - bill trinen - reggie just cakes us in memes and more teases on mother 3 coming out "never" - a new mystery game is announced: - rusty's real deal baseball 2, now with amiibo compatibility tl;dr: nothing new except lots of amiibo compatibility RE: GAMER LOUNGE 20XX (NO CASUALS!!) - MrYoshbert - 06-15-2015 Good on you Kosheh Keeping your expectations low to avoid inevitable disappointment |
