RE: Victory fanfares? - GaryCXJk - 12-04-2009 On Geno I am willing to make concessions, but for the rest, it's just bullshit. Geno is the other excuse for being third party. However, it is pretty much a lame excuse. Doesn't make it less valid though. Anyway, what should Geno's fanfare be? There were two suggestions, and I couldn't even download the second if I'm correct because Rapidshit was being an asshole. RE: Victory fanfares? - HyperSonic92 - 12-04-2009 I really like the one Ton made RE: Victory fanfares? - GaryCXJk - 12-05-2009 [Joy Mech Fight - Fanfare] [Golden Sun - Fanfare] [Star Fox - Loop Jingle (Star Fox)] RE: Victory fanfares? - soulcaliburfan - 12-05-2009 I think we should leave the victories and loop jingles to Gary. Great job. RE: Victory fanfares? - Ton - 12-05-2009 I agree. Want to be in charge of it, Gary? RE: Victory fanfares? - GaryCXJk - 12-05-2009 Aw fuck. Sure, as long as I don't end up the only one doing anything music related. RE: Victory fanfares? - Ton - 12-05-2009 All I have is Audacity, but I'm willing to help where you need it with my limited knowledge. I can at least get clips for you. RE: Victory fanfares? - GaryCXJk - 12-05-2009 What I mostly need though is suggestions for each fanfare. And I need a good Jazz VSTi. And possibly a VSTi to emulate disco music. RE: Victory fanfares? - Crappy Blue Luigi - 12-05-2009 It kinda depends on what setup we're using with the fanfares. I'm sticking to one special fanfare per series with more than three characters, until it gets shot down. But for now, I'd love to hear an orchestrated version of the victory theme from Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!!/Punch-Out!! Starring Mr. Dream. RE: Victory fanfares? - GaryCXJk - 12-05-2009 [Punch-Out - Fanfare] [Punch-Out - Fanfare (Alt.)] It's not really a fanfare, but I thought a marching band would just fit better. RE: Victory fanfares? - Bazzoka - 12-05-2009 Punch-Out fanfares's sound pretty nice. I think I'd prefer the second one. And both seem a tad quiet. RE: Victory fanfares? - Crappy Blue Luigi - 12-05-2009 Fantastic, man! I prefer the, er... non-alt version? Yeah, let's go with that. RE: Victory fanfares? - GaryCXJk - 12-05-2009 Well, I'm thinking about adding some more brass sections, but as someone who loves music I also know that too much instruments can also be killing. EDIT: [Punch-Out - Fanfare (Alt. 2)] [Punch-Out - Fanfare (Alt. 3)] [Punch-Out - Fanfare (Alt. 4)] EDIT2: Holy shit, didn't even know I could pull THAT off. EDIT3: [Donkey Kong - Fanfare (Pirate)] Just for fun. It's not really up to standards, but I don't expect this one to be used anyway. Just wanted to practice a little bit. RE: Victory fanfares? - Ton - 12-06-2009 Some ideas for loops; Mario: Parade from SMW ending Luigi- SMB2 character select Bowser- Mario 64 Bowser level music Yoshi- YI2 Bonus game Diddy- DKC2 Bonus K.Rool- Kluba's Kiosk I'll get some samples of these later. RE: Victory fanfares? - GaryCXJk - 12-06-2009 I was thinking for one of the Mario characters the ending tune of SMB. |
