SKELETON - 08-31-2011 Still haven't watched Kaiji or Tiger and Bunny (or redline uguu) someone recommend me some stuff that's not those, maybe even some older stuff. I feel like 90's and 80's anime. RE: chinese cartoons - TomGuycott - 09-01-2011 (08-31-2011, 06:08 PM)MRSKELETON Wrote: Still haven't watched Kaiji or Tiger and Bunny (or redline uguu) Outlaw Star is one of my favorite 90's anime, not that I watch a whole lot of anime in general. It's gritty and fun without being overly splatterpunk and violent. Berserk is technically a late 90's anime, even though it was localized after 2002. THAT is overly splatterpunk and violent. I enjoyed Escaflowne, but it's incredibly pretentious, confusing, and boring most of the time. The fights are cool, but in reality I could condense the best footage from the entire series into less than an hour. However, the villain Emperor Dornkirk has the BEST origin story EVER for a villain. If you wanna jump back to the 80's, I remember seeing the first part of this OVA on the Sci Fi channel once that I looked up years later after seeing it, called Gall Force. Basically it is a sci-fi story that has a race of all women and a race of grotesque robot aliens. I never saw the beginning of the part that I watched, but there was a lot of action in the end of it. Yeah, I don't know too many good anime. RE: chinese cartoons - tsr moderation staff - 09-02-2011 just finished TRAVA. that shit ruled maximum RE: chinese cartoons - LeleleleMAXIMUM - 09-02-2011 wow the hunter ovas sucked greed island is the suck, why does this exist RE: chinese cartoons - Rosencrantz - 09-03-2011 ISAAC AND MIRIA WERE IN TONIGHT'S EPISODE OF DURARARA HOLY SHIT WHY WAS I NEVER INFORMED OF THIS RE: chinese cartoons - TomGuycott - 09-04-2011 I really wanna know how well the next episode of FMA is dubbed, tonight's was pretty awesome overall. Planning on watching Gundam, but I don't know where to start with that, read all of FMA and followed along with it 'till it was done, following along with One Piece and Toriko, finished Death Note, wanna see The Girl who Lept Through Time and Summer Wars. Anything else I should check out? Also, watched all of Paranoia Agent. |
