RE: Dawn of a New Day (SkywardSword General) - Jalopes - 11-20-2011 I'm enjoying it so far, but I'm only less than 3 hours in. So far nothing has really bothered me, except maybe the part where you have to jump into the circle. RE: Dawn of a New Day (SkywardSword General) - John2k4 - 11-20-2011 I got lost for probably a half hour in the beginning. Other than that it's been a blast so far. RE: Dawn of a New Day (SkywardSword General) - John2k4 - 11-20-2011 It was a good thing in a way, since I was able to talk to just about everyone, and get an idea of where everything is in town. RE: Dawn of a New Day (SkywardSword General) - Woppet* - 11-20-2011 Just about to open the boss door for the third dungeon. Dazz just out of curiosity are you usually a big fan of zelda games? RE: Dawn of a New Day (SkywardSword General) - Cell Shaded Envy - 11-20-2011 Just finished the first dungeon, I'm loving it. I think I'm liking this more than OoT. RE: Dawn of a New Day (SkywardSword General) - Jalopes - 11-20-2011 Also Dazz, lots of reviewers have been talking about the repetition/padding, so that doesn't surprise me. I dunno about your complaints about the writing, though; it's all been very charming to me so far. Does it... get worse or something, or did you think it was all bad? RE: Dawn of a New Day (SkywardSword General) - Koopaul - 11-21-2011 The only thing I don't like is the fact that there is only one real town/city in the entire game. Even Majora's Mask had a Goron city and a Deku Palace... Other than that this game is amazing! RE: Dawn of a New Day (SkywardSword General) - Woppet* - 11-21-2011 Groose is hilarious. I enjoyed LTTP, 4 Swords Adventures, DX, OOT, Majora's Mask and after a while I enjoyed Wind Waker. I guess I enjoyed classic Zelda 1 too, Zelda 2 was poo. Never played the Oracle games, or Minish Cap. Twilight Princess was full of boring pointless characters and waggle - I wish I had it on Gamecube, since I'd have probably enjoyed it at least a little bit... Even Majora's Mask had a Goron city and a Deku Palace...Yeah, they were towns, but they never really felt like them imo, in terms of how you can interact with them anyways (Goron city felt a bit more town like). Also, I find the one town to be more than enough what with it's large cast, each with unique personalities. Also, was that Beedle with a VERY unfitting accent? I laughed for a while at that part. RE: Dawn of a New Day (SkywardSword General) - Azure-Tranquility - 11-21-2011 Horrible control scheme, great everything else. The Controls are actually rather easy to get used to, it involves with how you move the Wiimote, of course if it isn't a motion plus wiimote, it probably won't work as good, but, my hands are terribly unsteady and I had no problem with the controls at all. EDIT: Playing this even more, I'd have to say that the controls for this game are the best motion controls for any game to ever use motion controls ever. I am very pleased. RE: Dawn of a New Day (SkywardSword General) - Dazz - 11-21-2011 I couldn't get use to camera control - I really struggled to jump gaps because of lining up the camera and running the in the right direction. Also that fucking circle. |
