Actually, if it counts my FIRST shiny was in Pokemon Rumble for the wii. It was a bidoof as well.

The curse has been lifted! Now Magikarp isn't my only Shiny catch (not counting Shiny Poochyena/Mightyena that is lost forever)!

Only legitimate shiny I ever found was ZUBAT
10 years of battling wild pokemon and I find a Z U B A T
my brother was playing my Leafgreen and my cousin's SoulSilver out of boredom
he finds a shiny Nidorino (that flees) and randomnly starts SS over and ends up with a shiny Cyndaquil
all in a period of a week

skrelp/dragalge is one of my favorite new pokemon, and in my y playtrough team and currently online battle team

most people always say complaining about it doesn't help
well in my case it helped, because after i made my first post here i've found 4 shinies in a time span of less than 12 hours
two shiny skrelps, willing to trade one for another shiny ( dedenne please )
a shiny shuppet, it's a keeper and just gave mega bannete a chance to be in my team
and a shiny pumpkaboo
looking for shiny ponyta now, but don't let the game know that because it only seems to work when i'm not looking for a shiny in particular!!!

My first and only legit shiny was a Shiny Zebstrika found in White.
A friend did find a Shiny Zubat in my leaf green file but that was him who found it, not me.

Heh I have a shiny Skrelp too. He's in my party now and honestly I don't wanna evolve him because he's really cute as-is, so I might at some point ask to do a quick back-and-forth trade to get Dragalge in my Pokedex...
