A lot of this slack could be trimmed from the process: 1)just don't do this on your phone? i'm not even sure how you can do this on a phone. 2)most 3D rendering software allows you to render the image with transparent background. and also lets you change the size of the render to whichever you need for the preview\icon. if you are not willing to do icons by yourself it should be expected that it will take more time for them to get approved. the site's Staff are also people and can only do so much. i myself have 91 models sitting in the unnaproved list since early september. i did icons for all of them. sure it was boring as hell but at least i know that it would be easier for the staff to check them out. RE: Submissions (OR: "Why is my sheet taking so long to get on the site?") - Smakkohooves - 01-05-2020 because these are for the most all zootopia characters and related stuff, i was thinking that was interesting things. RE: Submissions (OR: "Why is my sheet taking so long to get on the site?") - sammyrms1 - 08-13-2021 My Black Sister swimsuit Live2D submission got rejected, cause of some "junk" files that actually have a use for Live2D programs, like the Live2D Viewer. So yeah, it's our fault, and you're more than welcome to re-submit them! RE: Submissions (OR: "Why is my sheet taking so long to get on the site?") - Red36012 - 01-12-2022 So, my Angry Birds Social sheets haven't been approved its been 2 weeks since I submitted the sheets, and I'm somewhat experienced with this site, can someone explain me why my sheets are still not approved yet? RE: Submissions (OR: "Why is my sheet taking so long to get on the site?") - Petie - 01-12-2022 Did you even read the thread you replied to? RE: Submissions (OR: "Why is my sheet taking so long to get on the site?") - DecaTilde - 01-13-2022 Last month, @UserSix! submitted the Brian Griffin, Chris Griffin and Meg Griffin models from the Family Guy: Back to the Mutliverse game for PC on tMR. I waited, and waited for the models to come out of pending, but they're still in pending. How much longer before the models are approved? After all, I want to try submitting the Vinny model into the customs section again. Thank you very much. RE: Submissions (OR: "Why is my sheet taking so long to get on the site?") - RyuuFireStorm - 07-03-2022 I'm still curious on why there are submissions from 3-4 years ago pending, seems weird nobody rejected them RE: Submissions (OR: "Why is my sheet taking so long to get on the site?") - Petie - 07-03-2022 (07-03-2022, 04:10 AM)RyuuFireStorm Wrote: I'm still curious on why there are submissions from 3-4 years ago pending, seems weird nobody rejected them There aren’t? The sounds queue is the most backed up of the four and it’s oldest submission is from January 2021. There is nothing in the queue from 2020 or before. You're also not the first person I've seen trying to spread misinformation like this, and I wish people like you would stop making claims like this without knowing what goes on behind the scenes. RE: Submissions (OR: "Why is my sheet taking so long to get on the site?") - Fawfulthegreat64 - 04-02-2023 A pending submission I just uploaded to the Models Resource has a red border around the icon, which none of my other pending submissions do. I can't find any context as to why the red highlight is there, is it because I used APNG format for that icon? (I know I've used that format in icons before and they've been approved so idk) RE: Submissions (OR: "Why is my sheet taking so long to get on the site?") - Jasper7438 - 04-02-2023 @Fawfulthegreat64 I believe it is due to image file size. I was experiencing the red border with renders exported from Blender and was very confused by it. I used photoshop to center a render and then replaced a pending model's image with the version exported from Photoshop and it no longer had a red border. The image exported from Photoshop had a lower file size, I've been exporting all my renders from Photoshop and haven't seen the red border since. RE: Submissions (OR: "Why is my sheet taking so long to get on the site?") - Petie - 04-02-2023 Jasper is correct. The red background means that the image is larger than the maximum size we’d expect to see. It doesn’t mean the submission will be rejected, necessarily, and was really included more as a quick reference point for staff which is why there is no explanation for it anywhere (though I suppose there should be since I’m showing it to users too). Re-exporting with a smaller file size does indeed usually correct the issue though I don’t think you’ll really be able to do that while keeping the APNG format. |
