Christmas was one thing, whereas this will probably be a ploy to entice F2P players to go premium.
EDIT: also the steel jaw for the Heavy completes the Spine-chilling Skull; he looks like a goddamn monster with those things on.

So I found a Safe 'n sound. Pretty cool, huh?
But, I already have an Engi hat that I don't think I'll ever replace, so if anyone has a cool Heavy or Soldier hat they'd trade for it, that would be great.

oh also, was there something I missed about the drop system?
I logged in yesterday to find eight items waiting for me in my inventory (a warning let me know about them). I didn't even idle or play a lot of TF2 to get them anything :/

The drop system seems to be acting up alot lately. I've had items appear out of nowhere, and sometimes dissappear aswell. Weird.

... woopee? ammo-less weapons sounds cool, but I wonder just how well they'll work (and if I can get one without having to shell out more money).

most new players go to Soldier or Spy (in my experience, anyway).

new weapons can be crafted for a relatively low amount of items.
i am looking foward to that soldier's new primary. its going to be a blast to be used agaisnt both sentries and defeneses, although i wonder if it has any kind of splash radius.

Either way, I have a feeling that the Cow Mangler will most likely get nerfed. Not sure about the Righteous Bison yet.
