To be fair Pokemon (And IMO a lot of RPGs) feels like it does start off really slow.

FR/LG have the worst music the other games are much better in this department
being forced to waste 5 minutes on a guy with 6 magikarps, kid with rattata, etc can be pretty annoying
theres lots that I would do away with honestly, but I just love the feel of the games more than the game itself honestly
like I said I would love a more mature pokemon adventure

B-But it has my favorite rendition of the Gym Leader battle and Mt. Moon in the entire franchise.

Pokémon games can be pretty good... if it has mystery dungeon in the title which they should totally make the main pokemon game series because, oh, I don't know, it's actually GOOD?

One of my bad experinces happens to be losing a cart. God fucking damnit I never wanted to grind again because I'd be dumb enough to lose the cart containing those pokemon... and unknowingly that you are SO CLOSE to getting all 150..
