Koopaul, I mean really, does it absolutely matter that much? It's a fan game and we're not Nintendo. If we feel Waluigi represents a Wario character more than a Mario one, it's our call. Nintendo can swoop in and tell us how wrong we are when they care that the fan game is going on (never)

Other than that, it'sa good roster. The only one I don't like is Samurai Goroh or whatever the hell his name is, he's never reallay appealed to me as a character, plus he looks kinda..."duh".

As I stated I'm a little uneasy about K.Rool, Waluigi, and Bowser Jr being unlockables. Not sure why but I think that they should be starters.
Also I know Luigi's gonna be unlockable but I think we should break tradition and make Luigi startable. VIVA LA LUIGI!

Yeah, Jiggs and Luigi should stay secret to keep with tradition.
And we don't want all of our new characters to be initially unlocked. We want to surprise people.

-I'd swap Ness for Claus. People expect Ness. Claus will be a surprise.
-I'd swap Sonic and Snake for some of the first parties. Maybe Sukapon and Ray.
-Also, maybe swap Marth for Villager or Saki?

Notes: (updates are bolded)
-Reformatted for width, as to have the player cards fit below it.
-Skewed format is simply a personal flavor, but it works just as fine as a proper rectangle.
-First and Third rows are starting characters.
-Second and Fourth rows are secret characters.
-Original and Melee secret characters still retain their status as secret characters. (This is no longer fully accurate.)
-Third-party characters are not starting characters.
-Geno moved to Mario section because it seemed to fit better.
-Lucario promoted to starting character as Mewtwo is making a return.
-Fox remains the single starting character for his game series.
-Masked Man made a starting character because it seemed a bit odd to have both villains as secret characters. Decided to have group the different pairs of characters together. (Return him to secret character under the argument that both Ness and Lucas are expected by now.)
-Made Captain Falcon and Marth starting characters, as they're well expected by now.
-Villager, Ray MK.III, and Saki switched to secret characters.
-Issac also switch to a secret character, but moved into a different section as to not be mistaken as a Fire Emblem character.
-Made Snake and Sonic starting characters, as the wow-effect they had in Brawl wouldn't pass over to this game.
-Moved Travis because he didn't feel right being in the bottom corner.
