RE: Sega admits Sonic is falling - Yoder - 08-21-2008 http://media.wii.ign.com/media/142/14242720/imgs_1.html Recent screenshots at GGC from the Wii build of Unleashed show some interesting points. Sonic is now dull again (as in SA1/SA2), though this could be due to graphical limitations only. I always hated the new 'shiny' look they gave Sonic characters in Heroes and Shadow. Werehog will definitely have Ristar-like moves. Plus, he climbs poles and sidles. There are also PoP-like traps throughout Werehog levels. RE: Sega admits Sonic is falling - Alpha Six - 08-22-2008 i like the way it looks so far. RE: Sega admits Sonic is falling - Flare - 08-22-2008 I love Sonics look, very SA2. And yeah can't wait to play both - yes both - styles of gameplay. RE: Sega admits Sonic is falling - Rakia - 08-22-2008 What the hell? Why do his shoes suddenly become cleats when he becomes werehog? Also King Metroid pointed out to me that he just looks like a furry level 2. I also hate the ristar thing they're doing =\ So, there's my bashing =) RE: Sega admits Sonic is falling - Yoder - 08-22-2008 The cleats were revealed around the time of E3. Personally, I like the spiritual revival of Ristar-like platforming. My major gripe about manuever likes sidling and pole-climbing is that you usually aren't able to attack while doing so. I hope werehog can. |
