RE: The Official Pokemon Colosseum Project [Last update: 5/18/2012] - AllenSword - 05-19-2012 I've finished Mewtwo: (05-19-2012, 12:10 AM)Ploaj Wrote: I'm still planning on doing it but I haven't found my copy of the game and I don't feel like downloading it. @TheAmazingSnivy: You're writing a fsys viewer!?! Can I see? RE: The Official Pokemon Colosseum Project [Last update: 5/18/2012] - TheAmazingSnivy - 05-19-2012 It's still in betabetabetabetabetabetabeta version. I am looking into a bunch of coding, and I'm having a bit of trouble with the model viewer. Edit: @AllenSword: Do you know how to make the pictures the download icon? Not trying to be rude, but I think it's better to put the download link as the image, for simplicity's sake. But yeah, 3D Via can only be used along with 3DS Max. You'll get the best results with 3D Ripper DX if you use the 3DS Max plugin. RE: The Official Pokemon Colosseum Project [Last update: 5/18/2012] - AllenSword - 05-19-2012 @TheAmazingSnivy: I'm not gonna make the pics link to the model because I like to remove them from mediafire after Peardian uploads them. If Peardian wants me to make the pics the download link, then I'll do it. Also, betabetabetabetabeta version makes it sound like you haven't done much programming (not to sound insulting). What language are you using and where are you looking up how to write this? I ask because I have taken courses on programming in a few languages particularly VB and C. @thegameexplorer: I agree. I don't think it would be wise to wait for a converter, since those projects always go under or stop halfway through. This is really the best way to get the models. RE: The Official Pokemon Colosseum Project [Last update: 5/19/2012] - TGE - 05-19-2012 How do you mean? You need to make icons for them to be able to be submitted. Adding a link is just a little trick. It's just giving the image a hyperlink to the download page. It's okay, because I'm still looking through the actual files to see how the are emulated and stuff. I'm writing in C++ language, because that's the only one I know. So it's still in betabetabetabetabetabetabeta version because I just started. RE: The Official Pokemon Colosseum Project [Last update: 5/19/2012] - TGE - 05-19-2012 I'm hoping you'll release a betabetabetabetabetabeta version sometime, 1 beta less ![]() And also, Allen, please don't make tutorials in Office format, not everybody has it installed. Yes, I'm aware that you can use OpenOffice, but still, better just use text files. RE: The Official Pokemon Colosseum Project [Last update: 5/19/2012] - AllenSword - 05-19-2012 I might consider including a .txt version. You have to understand I can't possibly be responsible for every situation where someone doesn't have open office or word. The same goes for model ripping. Not everyone has access to 3ds or maya. RE: The Official Pokemon Colosseum Project [Last update: 5/21/2012] - AllenSword - 05-21-2012 Groudon is ready to go: RE: The Official Pokemon Colosseum Project [Last update: 5/21/2012] - Peardian - 06-08-2012 Mewtwo has definitely seen better days. Ho-oh, Mewtwo, and Groudon have been uploaded! RE: The Official Pokemon Colosseum Project [Last update: 5/21/2012] - Garamonde - 06-08-2012 Er, sorry for forgetting to mention, but the name is actually "Ho-Oh", with a capital O, meaning the icon and file name will need to be changed. ![]() RE: The Official Pokemon Colosseum Project [Last update: 5/21/2012] - AllenSword - 06-08-2012 @ Mighty Jetters: I'll fix the icon in a sec. Thanks! @ Peardian: What is wrong with Mewtwo? I can't see the problem. I'm looking at the model's uv maps and don't see any errors. RE: The Official Pokemon Colosseum Project [Last update: 5/21/2012] - Peardian - 06-08-2012 Nothing's wrong with the model, I just meant it isn't exactly the nicest looking Mewtwo model Nintendo has made. ![]() RE: The Official Pokemon Colosseum Project [Last update: 5/21/2012] - TheAmazingSnivy - 06-08-2012 (06-08-2012, 08:57 PM)Peardian Wrote: Nothing's wrong with the model, I just meant it isn't exactly the nicest looking Mewtwo model Nintendo has made.
