RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - Garamonde - 03-17-2013 yea I think the animations should be sprited separately and the hammer a separate thing added on. RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - Zadaben - 03-17-2013 Recme I think you missed my penultimate post with this Dedede and his hammer/bulked-up robes. It is mostly complete, all I need to do is fix the handle and his hand. RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - Ngamer01 - 03-17-2013 DeDeDe's belly looks odd as if he's super-thin and put a pillow underneath his stomach-band. If it's not intended for DeDeDe to have his Kirby 64/Kirby Returns to Dream Land, Brawl, or his anime appearance, then his belly should be toned down a little and adjusted so that it doesn't look like a pillow. RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - recme - 03-18-2013 I didn't ignore your post. I saw it. Some stuff looked funny to me, so I edited Dedede (I'm editing the hammer right now btw. It still looks weird). RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - Terminal Devastation - 03-18-2013 So, I've noticed while looking an references of the newer kirby games that nearly every enemy has two different death/hurt frames, should we have those for everyone? If not... Peezer should be complete now, unless he needs more frames for the beam shoot. Then all I'd need is a hurt for Boomer and Wizzer before I could tackle the next guy. Any suggestions on what I should try next? RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - ssbawesome - 03-18-2013 I'd like to help with this project. Is there anything in particular that I should do? Is there anything in particular that I should do? Not really. Just find something to work on and hop right on in. In case you need to know whats been and being worked on so far, as far as I can tell at the moment (hopefully I'm not overstepping, but a list of what we have done might be nice to have as well as the total list found on the first post): Kirby: 7 sequences done... more left to do? Dedede: 1 idle in progress Kabu: Should be already done Waddle Dee: 2 frame (start of a walk /idle) Waddle Doo: 3 frames,(idle, laser) Bronto Burt: Should be already done Poppy Jr: 1 frame (idle) Sir Kibble: 1 frame (idle) Booler: 1 frame(idle?) Scarfy: Normal form done, still needs transform. Glunk: 1 frame (idle) Two-Face: Should be already done Boomer: Should be already done (overkill walk sequence) Wizzer: Should be already done Peezer: Should be already done Coner: Should be already done Some background elements for green greens Any labeled "Should be already done",have at least animation sequence for anything they have in the original at least as far as I can tell. They might still need some tweaking though sprite wise, so you could help with that too. Anyways: I have no idea how many eyes coner is supposed to have... But Boomer, Wizzer and Peezer should be complete enough to fully use in a recreation now. Should I add a second hit/dead like I see in a lot of the newer kirby games now, or wait until later? RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - ssbawesome - 03-20-2013 I think I'll start with Shotzo. RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - ssbawesome - 03-21-2013 Is this good? Not really sure on the lighting, though. Sorry for double-post. Just to clarify, my sprite is the top one. The bottom ones are from the game. RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - Goombaking123 - 03-22-2013 Will Masked Dedede be in this project? He was Dedede's form in Kirby Super Star Ultra's 'Revenge of the King', which was basically the game's Extra Mode (some Extra Mode enemies even appear in it!) RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - Garamonde - 03-22-2013 um I don't think so because he wasn't in Kirby's Dream Land. and I think that's too much of a stretch to be considered a "new action", like sliding and whatnot. RE: Kirby's Dream Land Remake Project [open to anyone] - Goombaking123 - 03-22-2013 Ok. I'll probably do Kracko and Kracko Jr. instead. Wouldn't it be better to file Masked dedede and any Revenge of the King stuff that wasn't in the original EX mode under the add in later after everything else is done catergory? I mean, if Nintendo ever DID remaster/remake Kirby's dreamland like they did adventure, EX mode would probably be a lot like revenge of the king will a world and a few more levels added. |
