RE: Mega Man Ripping Project (Classic/X) - Garamonde - 12-27-2016 OSHIT I HAVE FINALLY REALIZED THE ART OF MULTI-THANKING I CAN DIE HAPPY RE: Mega Man Ripping Project (Classic/X) - Magma MK-II - 12-28-2016 Sigma Of the three 32-bit games, X4 is the most annoying to rip, with it's tiles all over the place. Blaze Heatnix Could've been an awesome boss fight, instead they made it super lame. Also ridiculously easy to rip. RE: Mega Man Ripping Project (Classic/X) - Ton - 12-28-2016 Awesome! I never played X6. Is it worth my time at all? Also, I totally forgot a normal Sigma was in X4 at all. RE: Mega Man Ripping Project (Classic/X) - Garamonde - 12-28-2016 X6 is worth playing. RE: Mega Man Ripping Project (Classic/X) - Magma MK-II - 12-28-2016 Well, kind of. Stage design is all over the place and at points it totally hates the player, but it has it's good moments. RE: Mega Man Ripping Project (Classic/X) - Garamonde - 12-28-2016 I dunno, I liked it quite a bit and didn't find it terrible. Then again I have played the games a lot, so. RE: Mega Man Ripping Project (Classic/X) - Magma MK-II - 12-30-2016 Mattrex / Burn Dinorex Took me longer than I thought it would. Also I think this is it for the Mavericks, no one is missing anymore. RE: Mega Man Ripping Project (Classic/X) - Ton - 12-30-2016 Nice! He always had a cool design. RE: Mega Man Ripping Project (Classic/X) - Magma MK-II - 01-03-2017 Nightmare Mother RE: Mega Man Ripping Project (Classic/X) - Ton - 01-03-2017 Whoa, that's a weird boss. Nice work! RE: Mega Man Ripping Project (Classic/X) - White-Jet - 01-03-2017 I've finished the Introductory Stages for both the first and third X game. I'm aware that someone else already got to X1's intro stage, but there were still other elements that were either left out, or could be removed by means other than simply editing them with a Paint program (particularly the Bee copter since, funnily enough, their destruction isn't determined by how close they are to the collapsible portions of the highway; a one-hit cheat code drops them right where they stand, though the highway still gets destroyed and the copter ends up impeding your progress if you don't get to it fast enough). Intro Stage Intro Stage I may invest in the other stages when I have the time and energy, plus some other stages in the first X game that were altered after certain Mavericks have been destroyed (Spark Mandrill's Stage is damaged after Storm Eagle is destroyed; Flaming Mammoth's Stage is frozen over after Chill Penguin is Destroyed; and Sting Chameleon's Stage is flooded after Launch Octopus is destroyed). As for the X3 stages, they're all a work in progress since most of their stages are also altered depending on the Maverick destroyed, but usually not so great that they had to be ripped onto a separate sheet. RE: Mega Man Ripping Project (Classic/X) - Ton - 01-03-2017 These are fantastic! Do you plan to submit through the website, or here? Either one is cool with me. Thanks for keeping the project going! RE: Mega Man Ripping Project (Classic/X) - White-Jet - 01-03-2017 I mainly use image uploading sites for previews only. If I'm either told or believe most of the forum has seen and approved my work, I usually upload them to the site myself. I'll upload X3's Intro Stage after this post, but because X1's Intro Stage is already up, and there's only a few alterations that set it apart from the original submitter's attempt, I'm a bit iffy about whether it should be uploaded as a separate sheet, or edited into the already submitted sheet. RE: Mega Man Ripping Project (Classic/X) - White-Jet - 01-04-2017 Finished the last three stages for the first X game. Flame Mammoth had to be ripped on a separate sheet due to the entire stage being affected while Spark Mandrill and Sting Chameleon's Stages only suffered minor additions. Flame Mammoth's Stage (Altered) Sting Chameleon's Stage Boomer Kuwanger's Stage The Sigma Stages might be a little tough because of the game's Copy Protection screwing up any progress I might make beyond the first stage. Shooting too many times without resetting often causes the stage to end early if the next shot hits a deflective object, and trying to complete the stage with that flag throws me back into the Intro stage with any power ups I've gotten completely gone, and possibly all Mavericks restored. You should get v1.1, it doesn't have that problem. |
