RE: Link - Locked Achievement - 01-07-2010 then he'd be left-handed RE: Link - Kairos - 01-07-2010 Actually Link IS left-handed. He was only Right-handed in Twilight Princess Wii. RE: Link - mutantyoshi - 01-07-2010 Yeah, he has always been a lefty, unlit TP: Wii Version, because all Nintendo Do is flip the whole world. You See TP isn't a Wii game (itself) it is a port from GameCube's Version, like how they made Mario Power Tennis, and Pikmen. So TP isn't really a Wii game, Its a port, they just needed to have more of a selection for the Wii probably, so yeah... RE: Link - LeleleleMAXIMUM - 01-07-2010 You'd have to make both sides, see, left and right-facing so one should show his back the other his front RE: Link - soulcaliburfan - 01-07-2010 Why not just switch the shield and the sword? RE: Link - Cshad - 01-07-2010 With the 3/4 thing, if we have Link switching sides where his back faces us, we'd have to do that for all characters :/ Can't we just have one direction and say screw it to spriting him the other way? RE: Link - soulcaliburfan - 01-07-2010 I am not saying we should flip anything, just switch where the shield and the sword are now and rotate him when facing the other direction. That way the shield is always in front. RE: Link - tsr moderation staff - 01-08-2010 which is dumb and doesn't make sense. i dont see the problem with back facing poses, its not like they look bad at all and they're easy as hell to edit, even if we only do it for the links and a few others RE: Link - Ekoi - 01-08-2010 I agree that for some characters we need to have different sprites for their facings. The likes of Mario and Sonic are clearly fine with having(for the most part) flipped sprites, but for those like Link or Samas we really should give them their different facings. RE: Link - Kairos - 01-09-2010 You know they did this for every character in the game Why would Link (or Links w/e) be the only one to get this treatment? Why not just use the post someone did for Link in the old project It was fine and usable. Everyone wins. RE: Link - tsr moderation staff - 01-09-2010 because link and samus canonically use specific hands. its part of their character. nobody gives a shit what hand mario uses RE: Link - Kairos - 01-09-2010 (01-09-2010, 01:01 AM)[fish in space] Wrote: because link and samus canonically use specific hands. its part of their character. nobody gives a shit what hand mario uses Okay then Use the old project's stance, and edit the arms. Everyone wins. |
