RE: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks announced for the DS - nicktheslayer - 09-09-2009 Whoa, what happened to all of the people saying trains shouldnt be in Zelda? This is a whole new argument... Anyway, im hoping still that they re-release OoT on the DS. Ive already figured out all of the conrols, and they would be flawless, and a lot easier than PH. This is a whole new argument...What does this have to do with ANYTHING? RE: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks announced for the DS - Vipershark - 09-09-2009 how would the controls go there aren't enough buttons RE: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks announced for the DS - Rosencrantz - 09-09-2009 (09-09-2009, 01:04 PM)Vipershark Wrote: how would the controls go it's the DS the touch screen serves as 50+ extra buttons but yeah this really has nothing to do with Spirit Tracks RE: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks announced for the DS - Vipershark - 09-09-2009 like I said, touchless controls thumb touching isn't accurate at all and makes it hard to see the screen, and if you want to use the stylus, you have to either uncomfortably hold it in your hand until you need it, or keep pausing the game to pull it out, put it back, pull it out, etc. A and B could be the A and B buttons, The bottom 3 C buttons could be X,Y, and L R would be R (obviously) Map on/off (N64 L button) would be Select But how do you Z target or use Up-C? RE: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks announced for the DS - nicktheslayer - 09-09-2009 One item would be equipped at a time, at the A button. Y would be your sword button, and b would be the action button. x would change to first person view. The touch screen would have the game menu, where you could quickly change the select item, shield, sword, or tunic. It would show one menu at a time, but with the arrows on the side, that you could tap to change them. Also, the ocarina would be played on the touchscreen, with the Yellow c buttons showing up, and a lower green button. YOu would tap the buttons in a certain order, to play music. the L button would now be the targeting button, and the map toggle will be replaced by select. I didnt miss anything, did i? If you dont beleive me, get out your DS, and pretend to hit the buttons for the different effects. It feels smooth. Edit - Ill move this to aseperate post, for further discussion. RE: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks announced for the DS - Alpha Six - 09-09-2009 touch screen. see, you're not completely out of the woods. but again, this is offtopic as fuck RE: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks announced for the DS - nicktheslayer - 09-09-2009 (09-09-2009, 02:32 PM)Tyvon Wrote: touch screen. see, you're not completely out of the woods. Yea, sorry about that... Im lookin forward to Spirit Track! (Thank god we are back in Hyrule... i was getting tired of all this water.) RE: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks announced for the DS - Ngamer01 - 09-09-2009 The only things that annoyed the hell out of me in Phantom Hourglass was the Temple of the Ocean King and the controls for firing the ship's cannon and moving the camera. I hope at least the cannon and camera controls are fixed in Spirit Tracks. I hated in Phantom Hourglass that when you try to fire the cannon rapidly at something, you end up moving the camera at times messing up your aim and firing (you'd also need to reset the camera to get back to firing the cannon). RE: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks announced for the DS - Alpha Six - 09-09-2009 The last Zelda general thread turned into an OoT vs MM debate (shocker) and it ended up getting locked. sooooooo RE: The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks announced for the DS - GrooveMan.exe - 09-09-2009 N.
