RE: Gussprint's Submissions REMIX - Part II - Gussprint - 12-26-2008 Hey, guess what do I have here today? A spritesheet update! ...And in record time, too. The Bradley sheet has been updated. With what, you may ask? Well, here's the whole story... As I stated earlier, there's a point in Metal Slug 4 where you could pilot a green-colored Bradley. I originally planned to include the poses exclusive to that one M-15A, to make the sheet actually complete, but there was a little problem with that. The green Bradley's graphics are actually slightly more different from the original. Mainly the front hatch. This morning, however, I looked back at the sheet and thought "Wait... there's gotta be a way.". Long story short, I set my editing skills in full motion. So yeah, all the MS4-exclusive sprites are included in the sheet now, edited to fit the whole thing. Don't know if I did a good job or anything, but heh, worth a shot. As always, check the first post for the sheet. RE: Gussprint's Submissions REMIX - Part II - @$$h0l3 - 12-27-2008 Great job! RE: Gussprint's Submissions REMIX - Part II - Dazz - 12-27-2008 Nice one, glad you updated before I put it on the system RE: Gussprint's Submissions REMIX - Part II - FlameBee - 01-02-2009 Good Sprites..... Well, "Good"is almost a Ofense, i mean GREAT! what emulator you use? (I use NEORAGEX 5.0, and the shot factory of it is uncomplete) RE: Gussprint's Submissions REMIX - Part II - Gussprint - 01-03-2009 Well, I usually work with Kawaks to rip MS sprites. And let me tell you this: its "Shot Factory" function saved me from getting an aneurism numerous times(Some sprites are plain impossible to rip just by grabbin' snapshots, really...). And now, for the first spritesheet of the year 2009, we have... A MS7-EXCLUSIVE RIP?!? AA Turrets(Metal Slug 7) ...Well, fo' reals. One of the two MS7-exclusive things I can rip with no problem, considering they're in the ONLY mission I can access. ...But yeah, remember those black turrets in Mission 1? I've made a compilation of all three types, at which point I'd like to make a couple of notes: 1. For those who are wondering, yes, they all share the same palette in-game. I've checked. 2. I don't know if the third turret's last pose is actually correct, since I had to rebuild it manually thanks to a little tile-viewer related problem(I can't seem to be able to see the very last tiles). Hopefully it should be close. Aside from that, it's all animation and SFX as usual. As always, check the first post for the sheet. RE: Gussprint's Submissions REMIX - Part II - Dazz - 01-03-2009 Awesome, MS7 stuff! RE: Gussprint's Submissions REMIX - Part II - @$$h0l3 - 01-03-2009 Awesome! RE: Gussprint's Submissions REMIX - Part II - Cool Crash Metal - 01-07-2009 unknow why, Could'nt logged again, and the forum said my username was wrong...Had to recreat my profile....> So... I can't make my Kawaks run games (i tried every kinds of Neo Geo Roms) I scan but there is no games available (i tried all kinds of roms) there is anything that can help-me to make it works? (Would surprise-me if you can help-me, cause i probably din't explain Right .) RE: Gussprint's Submissions REMIX - Part II - Gussprint - 01-09-2009 Ah, yes, forgot to mention... you'll need to download some BIO files to run NEOGEO games(Just look for "NEOGEO Bios", and you're set). In any case, before I show today's new sheet, I'd like to thank @$$h0l3 for his help. I owe you one, man. Mole Missile(Metal Slug 7) With this, my ripping spree in MS7 has officially begun. And about flippin' time. So yeah, it's those mole-like things from Mission 2, with the correct palettes, believe it or not. Also thought I'd organize the sheet differently this time(As in, left the BG color in). Just a test, though. Again, major thanks to @$$h0l3. Also, the Masknell sheet has been updated, and why didn't I do that before is beyond me, really... there was a little mishap(Spelling?) in the palette before. As always, check the first post for the sheets. RE: Gussprint's Submissions REMIX - Part II - @$$h0l3 - 01-09-2009 Awesome work and no prob , dude. RE: Gussprint's Submissions REMIX - Part II - Dazz - 01-10-2009 Awesome rip! I love the way that the style has changed so little throughout the years. Goes to show that you shouldn't fix what isn't broken. RE: Gussprint's Submissions REMIX - Part II - Cool Crash Metal - 01-10-2009 Now, all I need is Aeshi Nero, Dragon Nosuke, Jupiter King and Rootmars..... And maybe the Hozmi, Sol Dae Rokker and Iron Nokana RE: Gussprint's Submissions REMIX - Part II - thedudemister - 01-10-2009 These are some nice rips! RE: Gussprint's Submissions REMIX - Part II - Cool Crash Metal - 01-13-2009 NOP-03 Sarubia, DI-Cokka, M-15A Bradley.... Those are my favourite Rebel vehicles....(i am one of those guys who only played MSX in PS1) I even made some recolors of a Slug Sarubia and a Slug DI Cokka(I lost those) RE: Gussprint's Submissions REMIX - Part II - Gussprint - 01-19-2009 BUMP TIME, YO!!! Got a new spritesheet and a double header of updates here. Let's see what we've got! Mission 2 - Coal Mine - Environmental Objects(Metal Slug 7) Woo-hoo, I'm on a MS7-ripping fest here. ...I think... But yeah, it's the environmental objects from Mission 2 of MS7, all the types of minecart and everything, fully ripped as usual. And I guarantee it this time. Also includes the individual palettes. Speaking of which, it appears that all of the missile cart's sprites share the same palette. I've checked, and it seemed that way. *Shrugs* For the updated sheets, the AA turret's sheet has been updated with the CORRECT last frame. I think I've managed to fix that problem with the tile viewer. Also, Morden's sheet has also been updated with a frame I missed altogether the first time 'cause of that #$%@!!& tile viewer problem that I just passed. Jeez... ...Oh, I almost forgot. The section icon for MS7. Hope I got it right. As always, check the first post for the sheets. |
