RE: Errors - Garamonde - 06-18-2012 (06-18-2012, 08:40 AM)puggsoy Wrote: Geheh, it doesn't happen with Internet Explorer, so it's probably Firefox's problem. Come to think of it, it actually started happening around the same time I updated Firefox to v13. That'll be it SAME, SAME, SAME. I just updated FF yesterday/day before, but I was having stacked buttons even before that I think (maybe not though). I also have parts of videos lagging when I scroll down which didn't happen before I updated Java (and yes I unchecked "hardware accelerators"), so it's probably not all FF's fault. RE: Errors - Previous - 06-18-2012 Definitely a Firefox issue, I've checked the HTML and there's absolutely nothing logically causing it; removing the video <object> makes the buttons appear correctly. Chrome, Opera and IE don't show this behaviour. So there's not much that can be done on our side. Either hope for Firefox to regain its senses or switch browsers, as sad as it sounds. Apparently, the Firefox Crew is working on the recent Flash errors, the new 13.0.1 release was kinda a pure fix against the more extreme problems with Flash crashing entirely. RE: Errors - puggsoy - 06-18-2012 It's all right, it's not a big deal or anything, but I just thought to mention it just in case it was something on your end. However it'll probably be fixed in the new version, or in another Firefox update. RE: Errors - Goemar - 06-19-2012 Going into chat seems to sign me out of the forum. All I need to do is sign back in but seems a bit odd. Also when I entered the chat I had to enter my nickname, so what's stopping me slapping Dazz in an being a giant dick etc? RE: Errors - Petie - 06-19-2012 For the first part, it's likely because the chat link is being targeted directly at http://spriters-resource.com and you're logged in under http://www.spriters-resource.com or vice-versa. I'll look into making it a relative link to fix that. As for the second part, you can register a name with the server once connected. When you join with a protected name, you have to issue a command to send the server the password you chose when registering. Without that password, a protected name can't be used. Edit: It should be fixed. Kosheh, in the future, at least until we set it so that the www is permanent, use "{$mybb->settings['bburl']}" in place of "http://www.spriters-resource.com/community" when adding links anywhere in the templates to avoid the problem of people being forced to re-log in under the different domain. RE: Errors - Goemar - 06-19-2012 Giant Score Card "Thank you for participating in this survey" ad just appeared in the middle of my screen. Not sure if the ads here are meant to do that... RE: Errors - Dazz - 06-20-2012 That's been happening for a while, I have no idea where it's coming from... I've removed every trace from it, but I can't confirm the ad that's serving it. RE: Errors - Goemar - 06-20-2012 Not seen it before or since, if it happens again I'll do a screen grab if that helps at all. RE: Errors - Gaia - 06-20-2012 (06-17-2012, 01:14 AM)Random Talking Bush Wrote:(06-17-2012, 12:12 AM)Gaia Wrote: Broken images? That's weird, because they worked fine for me. How about now? I downloaded, opened, saved, and re-uploaded the PNG files, maybe that fixed it. Seems to break for me every now and then, web bowser issue? RE: Errors - Ton - 06-20-2012 Shining Force 2 has two Galam Soldier sheets, and the correct sheet is spelled wrong. RE: Errors - Davy Jones - 06-27-2012 http://www.spriters-resource.com/other_systems/alteredbeast/sheet/47675 This one is a playable character, not an enemy. RE: Errors - ~Axis~ - 06-28-2012 http://www.spriters-resource.com/gameboy_advance/dbzlog/sheet/14470 This sheet belongs in DBZ: Buu's fury. Also, the goku's in DBZ: LoG1 and 2 need to be switched. RE: Errors - Previous - 06-28-2012 Are you sure? These sprites are all equally hideous and it's really confusing. According to the interwebs, Goku has a hammer in LoG1 so that should be correct. The one in LoG2 might be a misplaced duplicate. All material on Gohan for Buu's Fury I could find shows him in different clothes. RE: Errors - ~Axis~ - 06-28-2012 Near the end of Buu's fury, when gohan returns from his training on the sacred planet of kai's, he kindly requests the Kai who brought him back to change his clothes to Goku's outfit. And VOILA! You get Ultimate Gohan. I've been playing the game recently. The sprite belongs in Buu's fury for sure. RE: Errors - Jermungandr - 06-30-2012 I'm surprised this hasn't been addressed already with how long this has been on the site but ... For Kirby's Dream Land 1, 2, and 3, as well as Nightmare in Dream Land ... the sections are listed with "Dreamland" being one word when it's supposed to be two: "Dream Land". It's like that on the big game icons too. Sorry if it sounds like I'm being picky but ... it just seems embarrassing to have had such a simple error for so long without anyone taking note of it. |
